We agreed on an out the door price and I was excited to get my dream car. I asked to put a deposite down but they said they don't take deposits. I assure him I was buying the car by and was flying down to close the sale. I sent him a copy of the vehicle added to my insurance policy. We gave him the loan approval info and he talked to the loan officer while i was present to tell him the check was cut for the purchase. Christian said that he removed the keys and said he would hold the vehicle till my arrival. I also sent him a copy of my plane ticket with arrival time so he could pick me up from the airport. He again assure me that the vehicle was mine and not to worry. A few days before my flight I called Christian again for some follow-up info and he didn't answer but text me " Damm bro, the car was sold yesterday ". xxx! He finally called me back to just say sorry and ther was nothing he could do. After.several hours the sales manager called to say the same thing. I also spoke to the rude GM who said there was no signed contract or money put down. He again was rude saying the car was gone so stop wineing about it. Then said he would sell me another vehicle for 10k more. I voiced my opinion about him, his staff and dealership for not honoring there commitment on me purchasing the vehicle. Not sure if this was a bait and switch or they really sold the vehicle. All i know I'm out $350 for the flight and had to cancel my insurance and loan. My advise to anyone is not to purchase anything from Rick Case Hyundai because they don't honor their promises nor do they have respect to customers. More

MY CAR WAS 50 DAYS AT RICK CASE HYUNDAI PLANTATION-One of the most frustrating service experiences I have ever had. I brought my Hyundai Tucson in for an intermittent electrical problem covered under warranty. My vehicle stayed at the dealership for 50 DAYS!!!The first 27 DAYS, they didn’t even inspect the vehicle, according to the dealership, because they were short-staffed. During that time, the service advisor Jesus Martinez assigned to my case rarely communicated and repeatedly failed to return my calls. After 27 days, I requested a loaner and were told they couldn’t provide one because there was no diagnosis — because they hadn’t even checked the vehicle! Eventually I had to escalate the situation to Hyundai Motor America. After a lot of arguments and few times trying to contact the service Manager at the dealer, finally they agreed to give me a loaner, remember it was 1 month already! And 3 days later, we were told to pick up the vehicle (my car) from dealer because they couldn’t replicate the problem!! (more than a month they never check my car and in 3 days they said they don't have a diagnosis!) I picked it up and within approximately 5 minutes of leaving the dealership, the same problem happened more than FIVE times in less than 10 mins. driving back to my home. Unbelievable!!! We called the manager and he asked us to bring it back, the only reason I did it was because the repair was covered under warranty. The car stayed there for another 2+ weeks, with the same lack of communication. We had to repeatedly call and leave messages just to get updates. We even provided information about similar cases and possible diagnostic solutions. After 50 DAYS, they finally ordered a part that we had already suggested they look into earlier. The most frustrating part isn’t just the 50 days — it’s the lack of urgency, communication, follow-up, and accountability. And I don’t even want to mention the experience when I pick up my car back, service advisor and manager were very unprofessional and the car was completely dirty (inside/outside), smelling very bad inside the car. If you are considering Rick Case Hyundai Plantation for service, especially for an intermittent or difficult-to-diagnose problem, or any other situation, do your research first and consider your options carefully. I hope that I never need to go back to Rick Case Hyundai, because after this experience, I never want to deal with this service department or any other department in this location again! More

I waited a while and when I decided to try to sell the car back to them , they low-balled me with a 19K offer. Residual on the car is 24K and that is a year and a half from now with 30K mile. My car has 10K . They are selling for 28 to 29 at every dealership as car is in excellent condition. I did not expect that but 19K..really? This really is an insult . Will NEVER buy from them again. I explained that I already own a G90 and provided all my details, including payoff and trim. Despite that, she insisted I needed to come in person. After driving more than 50 minutes, I arrived only to find that Pierina did not meet me and no one seemed to know where she was. The information she provided was misleading and inconsistent, and later she sent me an even more confusing message claiming I could get the car for $199 a month. The entire experience felt disorganized and disrespectful of my time. Very disappointed. More

Unfortunately, my experience with the finance manager Paulo Grandez was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. Throughout the entire process, Paulo Grandez repeatedly tried to push additional finance products that I had clearly declined from the beginning. On several occasions he attempted to condition the deal by insisting those products “had to be included” in the contract. Because of this situation I had to review and sign three different versions of the contract, since products I had already rejected kept being added again. The most serious issue occurred when Paulo Grandez ran my credit with four different banks without any real need, even though I had clearly stated that the financing would be done through Hyundai Motor Finance. These multiple credit inquiries directly affected my credit score, which should never have happened since the financing option was already defined. This situation is even more frustrating considering my previous experience with the brand. I previously purchased a Hyundai Santa Fe 2024, which turned out to be defective and required a full transmission replacement. Later, I purchased a Hyundai Santa Fe 2025, which also developed transmission problems and eventually became a Lemon Law case. Because of this entire process I was left without my vehicle for approximately 47 days, which directly affected my work and daily activities. During that time I had to accept an inferior replacement vehicle. Despite all of this, I want to recognize two people who did act professionally. Sales Manager Nick Tagle was one of the few individuals who showed transparency, professionalism, and respect throughout this difficult situation. From the beginning he tried to handle the problem in the most honest and transparent way possible and made a genuine effort to help manage the situation and find a solution. I would also like to recognize sales representative Joel Beltrán, who was respectful, patient, and attentive during the entire process. If anyone decides to visit the Plantation location of Rick Case Hyundai, I recommend asking directly for Joel Beltrán, as he genuinely tries to help customers. Even though the transaction was eventually completed, my experience was very unpleasant. The final interest rate ended up being almost twice as high as the rate I had previously secured with another financial institution, but due to the complications related to the Lemon Law case, I felt practically forced to accept it. For all these reasons, I hope Hyundai Motor America reviews this situation and takes appropriate action regarding how Paulo Grandez handles customers, since this type of behavior damages customer trust and leaves a very negative impression of the Hyundai brand. I said fine because they said the cost of the test would be deducted from what ever repairs is needed. However, when they told me the cost of the repair they still charged me for diagnostic test. When I asked why they still charging me for the test she said the repair I need was different from what I came there with. This left me mind boggled. (If a diagnostic test tells you everything wrong with a car how can it not be deducted from the repair.) All that to say I didn't want any problems, so I just payed for the diagnostic and oil change. I still had lights on my dash and didn't even receive a print out of any codes or nothing. No proof to even say they did a diagnostic test. And they had my car for 2 days. I took this as a expensive lesson to never come here again. More

I reminded him that he had said at the beginning that he could give me the number right away. Before we hung up, he said he would call me back. I asked him not to, and said I preferred a text instead. He agreed. A minute later, he texted that he would call again in a few minutes. I replied immediately, asking again not to call and to please text. He called anyway. When I answered and calmly explained my frustration, he told me I was contradicting myself. That was not true, and it felt like an attempt to twist my words and shift the blame. The whole exchange left me feeling disrespected and gaslit. To the dealership’s credit, I later spoke with a staff member named Isaac who was kind, understanding, and genuinely wanted to know how trust could be rebuilt. I’ve since written to the manager, Charlie, with full details and will update this review depending on how the situation is handled. More

Rick case Hyundai sold me a used 2020 Hyundai Venue. 91000 miles when I got it and about 94k when the transmission crapped out. Now they're gonna try and stiff me with $4k+ in repairs.
