What Others Say
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I brought my Honda Element in at 7:30am on Tuesday for service and a $300 detail, and the entire experience was unprofessional from start to finish. At check-in, I was spoken to rudely by a lady in the service department. When I returned for pickup at 5pm, my assigned service manager had already gone home, and staff literally didn’t know where my car was or what was going on with it, the person I spoke to in service actually asked me if I had the key for the vehicle. I continued to wait for my vehicle and by 5:30 I checked back in because my dog has been in the crate all day while I was at work and my car was being worked on, and they eventually found it on the opposite side of the lot, not delivered to me by the service department so I could get in my vehicle.
The “detail” I paid for was a joke: dirt, streaks, water spots, and grime still everywhere as you will see in the photos. When I pointed it out, the sales manager stated she was sorry about the detail and then also stated, “but you can’t expect perfection” That’s not an acceptable response when charging $300.
I asked the service department to also do a multipoint inspection on my vehicle for road readiness, as I will be taking the vehicle on a long trip. John from service called me back recommending a bunch of service items even though this vehicle has been well maintained.
Worse, 15 minutes after leaving Honda and getting my car “inspected”, the car began jerking violently on the highway, RPMs surging, and warning lights flashing. I headed back to the dealership pretty shaken after having that happen to me on the highway during evening traffic. Their solution? Put me in an ant infested rental car and the sales manager Kaylee stated she couldn’t issue me a check or a refund for the detail before I left that it would have to be the next day. Wednesday morning around 11am I had to call the director of the service department Sam myself for information on the service side of things. He stated they cleared the codes, and “maybe water got on a sensor.” And that my car was working perfectly fine and they drove it around town. When I asked for accountability, the service director admitted, “I’m not actually out there in the service department where your car is.” And they said it was running fine.
Meanwhile, I’ve had to coordinate my own refund for the detail (which I still haven’t received). The GM Tyler xxxxtle never responded to my detailed email with photos and videos. The loaner car I was given had ants crawling in it. And when I followed up again yesterday trying to get my vehicle at 4:30 after work, the manager Sam told me they’d just “mostly focus on the interior detail and do the best they can”, as if partial work is acceptable? Now Honda has had my car since Tuesday morning at 7:30am, it’s now Thursday at 10:30am nobody has called me to talk to me today and I told them I would like to pickup the vehicle on my lunch today between 11-1pm, fingers crossed? 🤞
This dealership is disorganized, dismissive, and lacks basic accountability. My vehicle left in worse shape than it arrived, and not a single person has taken ownership. I strongly recommend avoiding this dealership, I will never ever go to a Honda dealership again. It’s sad really, because some of my favorite experiences I’ve had with my vehicles in the past have been at a dealership. Granted, this was when I was stationed in Washington state and I went to the jeep dealership, but still I have never been more disappointed in my life.

Went in for routine oil change and they came out and wanted to do over 2500.00 in work. Which included tires. They were running a special. Refused but next time I drove my car, my back up camera was not working correctly. This is what happens every time I go.
I start contacting Honda of Kingsport thru there online talked to a nice lady about a Tesla they had. I went to look at it they sold the car as I drove in. I start contacting her again about a 2022 crv hybrid that they have for sale for 25288.00 which is a good deal but I never pay what a dealer is asking for. I told her if they gave me a deal on the car it would be sold. They offered me a way under trade in value for the car I have that I thought about trading in so I took the trade in off the deal and was going to do the deal straight out. The car has high mileage for the year. Out the door was a little over 28k. I offered 23k thinking they would come back with a different offer they stood at there offer. I went up even to 25k before I left and they still would not counter offer to make a deal. They said there going to send it to action Monday. I told them we are between 500 and 2500 difference my internet rep nichole called me crazy multiple times. I think you need to make sure you get a deal and do not let a dealships dictate what you’re going to do. Ever person is different and they need to be nice to you and act like there working for you and not just there to make money.
Great buying experience. Go see Haley for a simple, straight forward process. They made buying a car easy!
