This 1964 Mercedes-Benz 220SE Coupe® is a European-market model finished in green over light brown upholstery. Equipped with a sunroof, Euro-market headlight assemblies, bright rocker trim, and reproduction stainless-steel bumpers alongside the original removed chrome bumper components, the car rides on 14-inch steel wheels with body-color hubcaps, bright trim rings, and 205/70 BFGoodrich Touring T/A tires. It utilizes Bilstein shock absorbers and four-wheel disc brakes. Inside, the cabin features color-matching door panels and a dashboard pad, a FrigiKing under-dash air conditioning unit, a replacement four-band radio, and a two-spoke steering wheel fronting a wood-trimmed instrument cluster housing VDO gauges. Under the hood sits a replacement 2.8-liter M130 inline-six sourced from a 1970 280S model, which has been modified with dual manual-choke Weber DGV 32/36 carburetors and a 123ignition electronic ignition distributor. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a replacement differential sourced from a 1972 model featuring 3.27:1 gearing.
