1982 PORSCHE 911 SC COUPE VIN: WP0AA091XCS120877 117,113 MILES TMU Presented here is a one owner 1982 Porsche 911 SC (Super Carrera) coupe. It is finished in its original Platinum color paint; only the front hood has been repainted, due to rock chips. The interior, which was redone ten years ago, is chocolate brown, matching the original interior. Its fuel injected 3.0 liter air cooled aluminum block flat six cylinder engine was completely rebuilt in 2020 by Renn Haus in Sarasota, FL at a cost of $26,218. Oversize JE pistons were used, increasing the bore, thereby increasing displacement to 3.3. liters. The car has been driven approximately 20,000 miles since the engine rebuild. The motor is connected to a 5 speed manual 915 transmission. This powertrain, combined with a vehicle weight of only 2700 pounds, results in a peppy vehicle that will accelerate from 0-60 mph in approximately six seconds and achieve a top speed of 130 mph, both very respectable numbers in 1982. Additionally, Renn Haus replaced axle boots, shift shaft seal and corrected leaking oil lines and oil tank. The vehicle is equipped with a power retractable sunroof, air conditioning, an aftermarket upgraded radio and electrically adjustable side view mirrors. Its Fuchs wheels are in very good condition, as are the General Altimax RT tires. Body panels are straight and the paint is in very good condition. There are several areas around windows where rust bubbles are starting to develop (see photos) although there does not appear that there is any rust on the floor pan or the front trunk. The driver seat shows wear on the outside bolster (see picture). The vehicle has a clean Carfax with no accidents or damage reported. Sixty three 4 x 6 photos showing the engine rebuild and the interior with seats removed are included with the sale, as is the receipt for the engine rebuild.
