Our Viper journey continues. And guys... This might genuinely be one of the nicest Gen 2 Viper GTSs we've had come through our doors. This 2000 Dodge Viper GTS is finished in absolutely gorgeous Viper Steel Gray Pearlcoat over Black Leather, and right off the bat... THE COLOR. Let's talk about it. We've bought the reds. We've bought the blues. We've bought some of the most iconic Viper specifications out there. But Viper Steel Gray? We just don't come across them like this very often. And in person... Guys... THIS COLOR IS PHENOMENAL. It's understated enough to be classy but aggressive enough to perfectly complement those absolutely ridiculous Gen 2 Viper body lines. Then you've got the aftermarket gunmetal wheels with polished chrome lips, and the combination just works. Let's say it louder for the people in the back... GEN 2 VIPER GTSs ARE LEGENDARY. This is one of those shapes that will never be recreated. That massive hood. The double-bubble roof. The side-exit exhaust. The ridiculous proportions. And underneath that enormous hood sits an 8.0L naturally aspirated V10 producing 450 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque, connected to a proper 6-speed manual transmission and sending everything straight to the rear wheels. Just a massive V10, three pedals, rear-wheel drive and a whole lot of courage. That's a Viper. We recently acquired this car after it was traded into another local dealership, and the second we had the opportunity to get our hands on it... We bought it. And once we really got into the car, we realized just how nice of an example we had found. Only two previous owners. The car has spent the majority of its life right here in Texas. It comes with beautiful service records and was recently serviced by the dealership. And we've just had the exterior freshly Opti-Coated, so she's cleaned up, protected and ready for the next owner. Then there are the modifications. And this is exactly how we like to see an enthusiast car modified. Subtle. Tasteful. OEM+. A Viper short-throw shifter gives the transmission an even better feel.
