Seller's Comments
The 2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt is a limited-edition performance car that pays direct homage to the 1968 fastback driven by Steve McQueen in the classic film BullittPerformance UpgradesEngine Tuning: It uses a 4.6-liter V8 engine that makes 265 horsepower, which is slightly more than a standard Mustang GT.Better Airflow: A cast-aluminum intake manifold and larger throttle bodies help the engine breathe easier.Throaty Exhaust: Special high-flow mufflers give the car a deep, vintage exhaust sound.Tighter Handling:The suspension sits 0.75 inches lower than a stock GT and uses firmer shocks and struts for sharper cornering.Stronger Brakes: Red-painted brake calipers clamp onto larger front rotors.YouTubeMatt Maran Motoring+2Exterior and Interior StyleClassic Wheels: It features 17-inch, five-spoke alloy wheels inspired by the original movie car.Clean Look: Ford removed the rear spoiler and fog lights for a stealthy, understated appearance.Unique Details: It adds a brushed-aluminum fuel filler door, unique side scoops, and special badging.Retro Interior: The cabin includes dark charcoal leather seats, aluminum shift knobs, and a 1960s-inspired instrument cluster.MotorWeek+1Rarity and ColorsLimited Production: Ford built only 5,582 total units for the 2001 model year.Three Paint Choices: It came in Black, True Blue, and the iconic Dark Highland Green used in the movie.Mustang Specs+1 ATTENTION: We are open for business by appointment only.
