2004 Ford Mustang

The 2004 Ford Mustang GT Convertible represents the final year of the iconic New Edge SN-95 generation, a car that blends classic muscle car proportions with modern performance. Finished in a sleek Black Clearcoat exterior, this drop-top offers an authentic open-air driving experience. At its heart lies the legendary 4.6L SOHC 16-valve V8 engine, producing 260 horsepower and 302 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed through a 5-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok limited-slip rear differential, sending power to the rear wheels for that classic Mustang feel. The GT trim outfits the Mustang with distinctive painted aluminum wheels wrapped in performance tires, a rear spoiler, and fog lights. Inside, you'll find leather-trimmed sport bucket seats with 6-way power adjustment for the driver, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, air conditioning, and a premium audio system with a modern touchscreen head unit. The power-operated convertible top stows quickly, and a glass rear window with defroster is standard. Advanced features for its era include 4-wheel disc brakes with standard ABS, Traction Control, and dual front airbags. The GT also boasts a sport-tuned suspension with gas-pressurized shocks, a front strut tower brace, and a rear anti-roll bar for confident handling. Engineered for open-air thrills, this Mustang GT Convertible achieves an EPA-estimated 15 MPG city and 23 MPG highway. With its potent V8, classic styling, and the freedom of a power top, this Mustang delivers an authentic slice of American muscle car heritage.
