?? 2011 BMW M3 Competition 1 of 1 Spec $34,999 I acquired this masterpiece directly from BMW of Austin, where it had just been traded in. Being an enthusiast myself, the first thing I did was inspect the car thoroughly and go through the Carfax and available history looking for any indication that the rod bearings had already been replaced. I couldn't find any evidence that they had, so rather than gamble with an S65, I immediately had the job done. ?? Rod Bearings Done at 105,910 Miles The original bearings weren't destroyed, but at this mileage it was absolutely the right time to replace them. The engine received: ACL Race Series standard-size rod bearings + ARP rod bolts I have photos and video documenting the entire process, including the condition of the original bearings when they came out.
