The 981-generation Spyder is the definitive expression of the mid-engine Boxster platform stripped of the standard car's power roof in favor of a lightweight manual soft top, fitted with the 3.8-liter flat-six from the Cayman GT4, and tuned with stiffer suspension and a lower ride height that collectively produce a driving experience the standard Boxster cannot approach.
