Perfect Auto Collection Signature Listing
2023 Subaru WRX Limited
VIN JF1VBAL6XP9802590 7,998 miles
A turbocharged all-wheel-drive sedan with three pedals and a gear lever. There is almost nothing left on sale that can say that.
Why We Acquired This Vehicle
The WRX occupies a category that has quietly emptied out. A turbocharged engine, all-wheel drive, four doors, a manual gearbox, and a price that ordinary people can reach - that combination once had half a dozen competitors and now has almost none. Subaru has kept building it while everybody else moved to crossovers and automatics.
This generation brought a larger engine than the car it replaced. The 2.4-liter turbocharged BOXER produces 271 horsepower and 258 lb-ft, and more to the point it makes that torque considerably lower in the rev range than the 2.0-liter before it - which is what a driver actually feels pulling out of a corner in third gear.
This one is a Limited with the six-speed manual, finished in blue over black Ultrasuede and leather with red stitching, on the eighteen-inch dark gray wheels and summer performance tires. At 7,998 miles it has barely been used. We buy cars like this because the people who own the rest of our inventory frequently want something they can actually drive in the rain, and this is one of the few that is genuinely entertaining while doing it. The verified appointments are detailed in full below.
