WHY SHOPPERS BUY THIS MODEL The Mazda CX-5 has earned an enthusiastic following by delivering something special in the compact SUV segment: the practicality buyers need, combined with the refinement and driving enjoyment they actually want. While many competitors emphasize utility above all else, Mazda takes a more driver-focused approach. The CX-5 offers responsive steering, composed handling, a quiet cabin and a sophisticated interior that feels remarkably upscale for its class. The Carbon Edition adds another dimension of appeal. Its distinctive appearance, black exterior accents, stylish alloy wheels and premium interior appointments give it a personality that stands apart from conventional compact SUVs. Standard i-ACTIV all-wheel drive provides additional confidence in changing road conditions, while the naturally aspirated 2.5-liter engine and conventional six-speed automatic transmission deliver smooth, predictable performance. Inside, the CX-5 offers comfortable seating, excellent ergonomics, intuitive technology and a versatile cargo area. It is equally suited to commuting, weekend travel, shopping and everyday family transportation. For buyers comparing the Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, Subaru Forester, Hyundai Tucson or Volkswagen Tiguan, the CX-5 is particularly appealing for its refined driving character, attractive design and premium-feeling cabin. AUTOMOTIVE PRESS AND INDUSTRY RECOGNITION The Mazda CX-5 has consistently earned praise from automotive publications for its engaging handling, refined interior and exceptional balance of comfort and performance.
