Mazda Certified Pre-Owned 2025 Mazda CX-50 2.5 S Preferred Standard i-Activ AWD Heated Seats, Moonroof, Power Liftgate
52,826 Miles Ingot Blue Metallic over Black w/Gray Standard AWD Stock #PE349115

Every CX-50 Mazda builds is all-wheel drive. There is no front-drive version, at any trim, at any price. That is unusual in this class — most compact SUVs make you pay extra for it, and a great many of the ones on used lots do not have it. This one does, standard, because Mazda decided the CX-50 was going to be the vehicle in its lineup for people who actually leave pavement occasionally. i-Activ AWD reads throttle input, steering angle, wheel speed and even outside temperature and windshield wiper use, then shifts power before the tires slip rather than after. On a wet on-ramp or a frosty morning in the North Georgia foothills, that distinction is the entire point.

And the CX-50 is the Mazda built to get out of town. It is wider and lower than the CX-5 it sits alongside — a longer wheelbase and a broader track, which means it is more planted on a back road and more stable with weight on the roof. The whole design brief was gear: bikes, coolers, camping equipment, dogs, the stuff that ends up in the back of an SUV belonging to somebody who does things on the weekend. It looks the part too, in a way that does not feel like a costume.

It also drives like a Mazda, which is the actual reason people buy them. The Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter four makes 187 horsepower, and while that number is ordinary for the class, the way the vehicle uses it is not. Steering that talks to you, a chassis that settles rather than floats, brakes with a firm and predictable pedal — Mazda has spent two decades being the brand that makes ordinary cars enjoyable to drive, and the CX-50 is the SUV where that shows up most. Drive one back to back against anything else in this segment and you will feel it inside a mile.

The Preferred Package is where the equipment gets genuinely good. Heated front seats, a power-adjustable driver's seat with lumbar support, a power liftgate so you are not wrestling the hatch with your arms full, heated exterior mirrors, and a moonroof. Inside, half-leatherette seat trim in Black with Gray — the combination that gives you the wipe-clean durability of leatherette where it matters and the breathability of cloth where you actually sit, which in a Georgia July is the smarter arrangement of the two materials.

The safety equipment is standard. Forward collision mitigation senses an impending impact with the vehicle ahead and acts to prevent or reduce it. Pedestrian impact prevention monitors the road ahead, identifies and tracks pedestrians, and takes action if a collision becomes likely. There is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for your phone.

Ingot Blue Metallic is one of the reasons to take this one over a comparable crossover. Mazda takes paint more seriously than almost anyone at this price, and Ingot Blue is a deep, cool metallic blue with genuine depth — it reads nearly slate in overcast light and opens into a rich blue in sun. Compact SUVs are sold overwhelmingly in white, silver, gray and black. This is the one you will spot from the far end of a parking lot, and it is a large part of why a CX-50 does not look like a $27,000 vehicle.

52,826 miles is what makes an AWD, heated-seat, moonroof-equipped CX-50 reachable. That is the trade, and it is a good one — this is a 2025 with the same equipment and the same all-wheel-drive hardware as a low-mileage example, at a number that is actually attainable. And it is not an uncovered risk, which brings us to the part that matters most.
