Essentially a mini-me of the bestselling Q5, the Q3 is a subcompact luxury SUV that tees off against the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA-class. It has traditionally trailed its rivals in the muscle department, the latest Q3 attempts to fix this with a more powerful, 255-hp 2.0-liter turbo-four and a snappier dual-clutch automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard equipment. The latest model features new styling inside and out, a revised suspension, and updated tech features. When we drove the new Q3, we found it to be quiet, comfortable, and athletic in corners. It's significantly quicker and more responsive than the old Q3.
