2026 Kia Sorento

2026 Kia Sorento S FWD 2.5L I-4 port/direct injection, DOHC, CVVT variable valve control, regular unleaded, 191HP, 8-speed automatic. This Sorento combines a responsive 2.5 liter four cylinder with an eight speed automatic transmission to deliver smooth everyday acceleration and sensible fuel efficiency. The cabin layout emphasizes comfort and low distraction, making it a practical choice for daily commutes, family errands, and longer drives.

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto let you mirror navigation, music, and messaging apps on the center display without cables, so you can stay connected while keeping your attention on the road.

Front pedestrian impact prevention actively watches the road ahead and can take automatic action if a pedestrian is detected, helping reduce the risk of collisions in busy or congested settings.

The rear camera provides a clear view behind the vehicle to simplify reversing and parking, helping you spot obstacles and back into tight spaces with greater confidence.

Lane departure prevention intervenes when the vehicle begins to drift out of its lane, nudging the Sorento back into position to support safer, more centered highway driving.

Rear collision mitigation monitors the area behind the vehicle and primes safety systems if a rear impact looks possible, offering extra preparedness in stop and go traffic or parking situations.

Adaptive cruise control with traffic stop go maintains a safe gap to the car ahead, can bring the vehicle to a full stop when traffic halts, and will resume pace automatically when traffic begins moving again reducing stress in heavy flows.

Brake assist detects rapid, panic braking inputs and applies additional braking force to help shorten stopping distance when a sudden hazard appears.

Conventional cruise control with steering wheel mounted controls makes it easy to set and adjust speed without taking your hands off the wheel, helping lower driver fatigue on long trips and steadying fuel use.

Keyfob engine start lets you start the engine remotely so the cabin is preconditioned for comfort before you get in, making cold mornings and hot afternoons more pleasant from the outset.

Heated driver and front passenger seats deliver quick, targeted warmth so occupants reach a comfortable temperature faster on chilly days, improving comfort right away.

Practical, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped, the 2026 Kia Sorento S FWD pairs useful connectivity and active safety technology with everyday usability. Whether you’re ferrying family, tackling the commute, or heading out on a weekend run, the Sorento is designed to make those miles easier.
