It utilizes an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (eCVT).Fuel Economy: It achieves an impressive 35 MPG city / 35 MPG highway. Drivetrain: All-Wheel Drive (AWD) is standard across all 2026 Highlander Hybrid trims, utilizing a dedicated rear electric motor to provide traction without sacrificing fuel efficiency.
