"Absolutely terrible "

wcolavolpe

I purchased a used 2010 VW GTi, from Mike Steven VW, signed the paperwork, called the bank for a cashiers check. Went back to the dealer; handed them the check; they brought the car around front; I gave a quick visual inspection of the vehicles condition. Said thank you and drove off the lot... I immediately saw a couple of faults on the display; Turned back around and returned to the dealer. Tire pressure was low and a back-up light was out... I told my sales person and he came back to me telling me I needed to pay 50% for the repair--I was reasoned to this position based on the low cost of my vehicle. $17.50 is what I was told I had to pay. I was treated rudely for questioning this and told by the Manager that his intent was to "not to listen to my banter but to get me out of the dealership". I decided i'd rather lose the $399 documentation fee, than to be belittled to a point of embarrassment and then return to a dealership for servicing, or maintenance, where they had disrespected me as a customer/person. I took my $16068.03 check back from the finance individual and left the dealership. I cant even believe they took $399 from me when I barely left the lot. I DO NOT recommend this dealership to anyone.
