Thanks for the response Angela. I was in the car business (office work) for decades and am always interested in how other dealers handle situations like this. This could have been a safety concern because I had to push the brake almost all the way to the floorboard on the way home. Any short test drive should have been enough for the tech to notice there is something wrong with the repair. As far as compensation for my trouble, a free oil change next time in would be what I would suggest if I represented the dealership. Rick
