Overcharged on a Lease I went to ABC Hyundai because of an ad on TV that said I could lease a 2017 Sonata for $217 per month, no money down, with ABC paying for the registra I went to ABC Hyundai because of an ad on TV that said I could lease a 2017 Sonata for $217 per month, no money down, with ABC paying for the registration. It was a sign and drive deal advertised on TV. When I went there, the Sonata that I leased was for $301 per month for three years, with a limit of 10,000 miles per year. In addition I had to pay for the registration, plus I was charged the first month's payment. After getting delivery of the car I saw the same ad on TV and decided to go back to ABC Hyundai to ask for an explanation of why my monthly payment is so high compared to the TV ad. I was told that my credit report could be the reason. But my credit rating is 849, 824 and 792 - so that can't be the reason. Then I was told that it probably was because of dealer-installed options. The only option in the car is Nitro, which I was never told cost $1595. If I was told it was that expensive I would have opted for regular air tires. More
