Very unprofessional dealership ! Was looking at a Ram truck that I found online. I was discussing the financing with a salesman named Rohan, while my wife was speaking to the internet sales manager at th truck that I found online. I was discussing the financing with a salesman named Rohan, while my wife was speaking to the internet sales manager at the same time. I told the salesman where I needed to be so after a while he emailed my wife saying they could absolutely get us the price we wanted. While this was happening the internet manager tells my wife there’s no way to get the trucks payment where we need it, so basically the salesman was lying just to get us to drive 45 minutes there to put us in something different more than likely. After my wife talks to the internet manager the salesman emails my wife saying he didn’t realize it at the time but the truck was already sold to someone in Tennessee even though the truck is still there on the lot and on the internet. This is sad that people would go to such extremes to tell a lie to our face ! Won’t deal with them again for sure ! More
My representative, Steve was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was straight forward with what was needed to be done in fixing my JK Wrangler and did everything in his power to make the unfortunate sit helpful. Went in for recall work and came $470.00 in the hole! I had 5 recalls on my Ram 2500. I went to this dealership (an hour away from my home) because my local dealer had left tools in the engine compartment I had 5 recalls on my Ram 2500. I went to this dealership (an hour away from my home) because my local dealer had left tools in the engine compartment on previous service repairs and I have lost trust in them. After getting the runaround trying to schedule an appointment for the recall service, I took my truck to Five Star in Macon. They kept the truck for two days. They called me to inform me that the batteries in my truck were not the correct size for a diesel. (These smaller batteries came from the other dealer where I bought the truck.) They told me the batteries needed to be upgraded and I asked how much? They told me $ 633.00!!!! For two batteries! When I declined, then they told me my other batteries were completely dead and would not take a charge. They went on to say they couldn't complete the recall flash upgrades without power to my truck. After I expressed outrage at the cost, they called me back and said they had misquoted the price and it would be $ 470.00. There was nothing wrong with the batteries in my truck when I took it there. They were the incorrect size (thanks to the other crooked dealer), but they were not dead. Isn't it strange how they both were completely dead and wouldn't hold a charge after they got my truck??! They charged me $100.00 for labor to install two batteries! What a rip-off! Any auto part store won’t even charge labor to install a battery. When I asked for my "dead" batteries, they said they had already disposed of them due to the core fee. How convenient! They couldn’t even provide a battery test record. I will never darken the doorway of this dealership again! You make up your own mind about using them, but as for me, I consider them as dishonest as the dealer that gave me the wrong size batteries to start with. More

Got an appt with Greg to "look around" . He listened to what my needs are. We test a few and Voila...I am the satisfied owner of a Jeep Renegade Latitude..with an attitude. Service Department didn't follow through on service required After taking my vehicle to this dealership on 4 separate occasions due to a safety issue, the gentlemen took their time on asking what was my concern. When they did wait on me the only thing they did was to put air in my tire before finding out why I was continuing to return for the same tire. Finally I was told that it had a piece of metal in the side of the tire and could not be repaired and that I would have yo get a new tire. The gentleman that waited on me originally told me that the tires was not under warranty and that I would possibly have to pay about 200+$ for and new tire . Even though Ii knew that with a brand new vehicle, I had the full coverage warranty including tires. When I called back to speak with the service adviser he turned me over to another person that stated that he would help me and would call me when he find out if I had a warranty on the tires and let me know about filing a claim. A Full Month has passed and I have not heard anything from either of these gentlemen. "THE TIRE WAS REPLACE AT THE FIVE STAR DEALERSHIP IN MILLEDGEVILLE UNDER WARRANTY" I could have had a severe blowout and possibly lost of life listening to THE FIVE STAR JEEP DEALERSHIP IN MACON SERVICE ADVISERS CONSTANTLY giving me the run around. Rip you off and charge you for work not done Had a ticking noise on my challenger and they could not found out what the problem was after the diagnosis. I was told by staff member Derek they had to do a complete 6 hour tear down at 100 hr for 600 dollars. I agree and they want to charge me 4000 so I have to car tow somewhere else. I went to get the part they took out the car it was just 10 piecse of the valve cover. I called the part manager who lies to me about completing the tear down then said they did it to the point of finding the trouble. After email them they come up with another complete lie about the the pricing of 158 hr and working 3.8 to the point of finding the problem. I told them that this was not repairI was told or agreed upon Its completely illegal and against georgia repair law to do unapproved work on a car without the owner permission and I was not given any written estimate from this company. They clearly lied and can not be trust. They have not answered my last emails demanding to speak to the owner of five star dodge about this illegal practice and fraud. I will he taking them to court if this is not resolved. More

It's not beneath at least one of this dealership's salesmen (Justin L.) to misrepresent the condition of their vehicles just to make the sale. FIVE STAR CDJR of Macon, lol. Based on our experience and how it was handled, the name of the dealership is a misrepresentation in itself. I really want to give them zero stars, but you have to give at least one star to be able to post the review!!! P.S. After this review was posted, my wife and I had a nice conversation with David Mullis, the dealership's General Manager, concerning our experience. We appreciate Mr. Mullis taking the time to respond to our concerns. He assured us that he will look further into this incident and take appropriate measures to insure that the same thing will not happen to a future prospective customer.
