I used to dread getting my car serviced but she makes it so pleasant and friendly that now I don’t mind at all! Oil Change I brought my Altima in for a scheduled oil change. The Service Advisor stated it would be 1 1/2 hours. I asked for an oil change? The service adviso I brought my Altima in for a scheduled oil change. The Service Advisor stated it would be 1 1/2 hours. I asked for an oil change? The service advisor also advised me they were going to rotate the tires as well. It took an hour to complete and I paid my bill and went home. When I got home I discovered I was charged for the tire rotation which was supposed to be free for the life of the tires since I purchased them at Nissan of Newnan. The advisor stated he would credit my account and there would be no charge for the tire rotation. My husband attempted to get the oil changed two days earlier. When we scheduled it we advised the phone person my husband was a leukemia patient who needed to stay away from people because of his weak immune system. They lady on the phone said that would not be a problem. He could get in and out very quick. When my husband arrived with the car for the scheduled appointment wearing his mask, the service advisor told him it would be an 1 1/2 hours to get the oil changed. There was no way he could sit in a waiting area for 1 1/2 hours waiting around other people. He rescheduled the appointment for two days later when I could bring the car in myself. Your dealership needs to take into account the special needs of some of your customers. My husband just wanted the oil changed quickly so he could stay away from people for a half hour or so. Was that too much to ask? Why does it take so long for an oil change? I know other dealerships guarantee 30 minutes or less for oil changes. The express oil change places can do the same service in 15 minutes. I don't understand why you don't have someone dedicated for oil changes only when extra service is not required. More
