I purchased a 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX from APX Auto Brokers in Edmonds, WA, 12/26/2025 (4 days ago) and discovered serious, undisclosed safety defects just days after purchase. Day 2 post-purchase: The check engine light flashed, and a strong odor of exhaust and gas was detected in the cabin. Day 3: The check engine light remained steadily on. Day 4 (Today 12/30/2025): A certified technician at Airport Welding in Snohomish, WA, found a large, pre-existing hole in the exhaust flex pipe causing a carbon monoxide hazard, which was repaired at my expense ($225). Also today, AWD Auto in Bothell located the OBD-II port and retrieved a P0303 code (Cylinder 3 Misfire), confirming a pre-existing mechanical issue. These issues were not disclosed at the time of sale, creating an immediate safety risk and violating Washington laws regarding vehicle safety and consumer protection (RCW 19.86, RCW 46.70.180, RCW 46.37.020, RCW 70A.15). An “AS IS” sale does not absolve a dealer from disclosing material safety defects. I have formally demanded a full refund, reimbursement, and unwinding of the sale. I will update this review once resolution is reached. More

Beware buying a car from here. The morning after I bought my 2011 Volvo XC90 the Check Engine and Tire Pressure lights came on. I checked them with my device and emailed and called them. I was told my device was not good enough to know what was really wrong. Well the shop I took it to said the same thing. Thousands of dollars of work needed. Funny how it showed up hours after I bought it and was told no lights or issues were found. What a coincidence ! They will not help unless I drove over an hour to get it check by them. Well who wants to do that with check engine light on. Very disappointed I do now have the thousands of dollars to fix it which is why I bought an older car and trusted them. More
