The service department failed to fill up the DEF fluid during my oil change visit. Additionally, I had to go through the entire check in process to get the DEF filled up. Dealing with Gosch Ford Escondido was my worst experience ever at any dealership. I dropped my vehicle off (2018, 60K miles, failed transmission) on 12/31, it was mis-diagnosed, after two weeks I was told i ever at any dealership. I dropped my vehicle off (2018, 60K miles, failed transmission) on 12/31, it was mis-diagnosed, after two weeks I was told it had been test driven and was complete, pulled it off the lot and the issue was not fixed. I did not get my vehicle back until 3/28 (3 months). I contacted the service manager Mike Tinsley on several occasions to ask for a projected/tentative forecast of what I could expect and never got a response. Jimmy in service was very polite and did provide periodic updates, but my impression as a whole was that the days that were agreed upon for updates were usually not followed through on, and that there was no sense of urgency to get my truck completed. I have been dealing with supply chain issues in my own business, so I understand the current climate, but overall, I would say that Gosch Ford is completely mis-managed, there was zero accountability taken, and customer service is not the priority. I would definitely not recommend Gosch Ford to anyone, and I will be selling my Ford and never purchasing another based on this experience. More
First of all I took my truck in to get a turbo noise with oil around my turbo and check engine like diagnose but only thing they could find is a manifold issue and could not find where the oil came from with oil around my turbo and check engine like diagnose but only thing they could find is a manifold issue and could not find where the oil came from. Next once I received my truck back from them three weeks later. As soon I get in to the truck the oil change require light comes on. Did a oil change the next day finding out that I only had less then three quarts of oil in the truck when it takes 6 quarts. Good way to blow up a motor. Called the service manager which wanted nothing to do with it. Told me multiple times over the phone that they do not check oil level or look at the oil what so ever. If a customer states there is oil on something check the oil level. The manager is super rude and did not want to help me out. Will never be returning to this location ever again. If you want your vehicle to blow up take it to them. They know how to do it. Also not everything was documented that was stated over the phone such bs. More
