Worst experience I’ve ever had attempting to purchase a truck that I ordered in January 2023. Finally came in June 2023. Went to buy it at MSRP because that was what was told to me. Me and the finance guy truck that I ordered in January 2023. Finally came in June 2023. Went to buy it at MSRP because that was what was told to me. Me and the finance guy both shook hands and said see you when it gets delivered. I would have never ordered it if they told me they will up charge me an extra $25K. I was advised that they had to sell my order to me at $25K over because Ford told them to die to market conditions. When I refused to pay it and about to leave the dealership they went down to $15K. I said no thanks. I said how about you honor the original agreement. Pretty disappointed. The website says Exceptional Customer Service. More

I came in for service on a recall item (roof rails). I had responded to email from Ford and set an appointment, but the national Ford call center failed to inform the dealership of my appointment. Ever since the Drew Ford in La Mesa changed owners I've been looking for a new dealership to buy my cars from (I've purchased my last 6 cars from there). Look people, if you are looking for free, or buying a car below cost - you haven't been paying attention. First and foremost, this is a business and these folks need to keep the lights on. We all agree we pay for goods and services at a markup - that's the social contract - car buying is no different. The trick is to find a place that is transparent about why and what you are being charged, treats you with dignity and respect, and isn't trying to just sell you a car today but rather earn your business for a lifetime.
