Total ripoff dealership, or should I say Stealership. Feb 2021 I had taken my vehicle here to get the transmission flashed because of a recall notice. Nothing was wrong with the truck. I left the dealership and immediately had problems with the truck. What they said the recall was to fix actually made it do it. I got busy life happened and since I don't drive the truck except for the weekend since I work from home it was the last thing on my mind. Well I finally got some time and brought the truck in and dealt with another service writer. So they had the truck and that service writer said the tech couldn't duplicate the issue. So now that I have extra time I take it back on 8/1/22. Show the manager the problem and explain that this is something that happens each and everytime. It's repeatable so not sure how the last tech was so incompetent. Pick the vehicle up today after them having it for over 24 hours. Instead of trying to reflash the tcm since this is what caused this whole thing the tech tells me my transmission is messed up and I need a new torque converter. This is really odd since it worked fine, transmission got flagged and now it doesn't work. So instead of fixing the problem they make an uneducated guess. No proof that the torque converter is bad they are just bagging it off a symptom which they caused. Best thing is I still got charged for $200.. Worst service ever, total ripoff company, they don't care about customers, I personally will never buy it get anything serviced by then and San making it my personal mission to let everyone know if their "customer service" or may I say lack of. More
Convenient computer crash Booked appointment as recall repair and Marks computer was down when I dropped vehicle off. Called an hour later to tell me steering repair cost was $2200 and it was not covered under recall so he had to charge me $150 to tell me this. not cool. The vehicle is 2008 Ford Escape with BB value of $3000 tops. Mark thought i should get the repair done. The service rep who drove my vehicle to me got out, handed over the keys and said “I think you need air in the front tire”. Told him I’ll find a gas station 🙄 I will never use this dealership again. More

Luckily, we had an extended warranty coverage from another company and thought every item would be covered for the repair, only to find out there were many restrictions the insurance company tried to impose on the repair. However, due to Mark's diligent and persistent work in contacting the insurance company, he was able to negotiate a settlement that was greatly reduced from the original estimate. We cannot thank Mark enough for the time and effort he put in to help with the final result. Each time we have our 2 SUVs in for service, Mark is extremely helpful, explaining what must be done and why. There is no question in our minds that he is a top notch employee at Perry Ford!!! He deserves a rating of 5!!! More

Mark worked with our warranty service company, century warranty services, who I would never use again, to get us the best deal he could on the repair. century wanted to put a $1500 “rebuilt” transmission in our van but they wouldn’t give us the information on the rebuild company or a copy of the 12 month 12 thousand mile warranty to review before the work was done. All I could picture was the AAMCO commercial from the 80’s with monkeys beating on a transmission with 2x4s. No thanks. Mark got me a factory rebuilt with 36 month unlimited mileage for about $2500. I manage a fleet of 200 vehicles for a local government agency, that’s a better price than I can get. When a cooling line fitting’s threads got bunged up, and the parts were not available locally, Mark got us a loner to meet some prior engagements. Awesome service. More
Poor Management My husband took in his 2017 Ford F150 for an issue that was diagnosed as being a bad turbo. It took a week for them to repair. Two days after getting truck back it was even worse, took it back in and they determined that the 4 wheel drive was trying to ingaage. They have had the truck for 3 weeks now. When you call to check status, no one returns your call and you have to drive to dealership to get answers. I blame very poor management with the exception of not communicating, that is on the service writer. We will not take a car to this dealership for an oil change at this pointt. More

Horrible Experience I pulled up to the service entrance and was totally ignored by the employees even though I was trying to flag someone down finally this woman comes up I pulled up to the service entrance and was totally ignored by the employees even though I was trying to flag someone down finally this woman comes up and says sorry we are short staffed because of the construction and we don't do walk ins you need to make an appt so she gives me her card and I called to make an appt it went straight to voicemail then I went on the website and called the main number the receptionist answered and I told her what I wanted then without saying Ill transfer you I thought she hung up so I waited then it sent me to another voicemail. I was extremely unhappy with their customer service. I am new to Poway and thought I would be able to take my precious girl (my mustang gt) there so now I have to drive all the way back to my old town of La Mesa to go to Penske Ford which used to be Drew ford there customer service is absolutely outstanding but Perry Ford I do not recommend it to anyone Horrible experience!!! #USNAVYVETERAN More
