This was the 3rd car I’ve ever purchased and my best buying experience yet! My salesman was super knowledgeable and great to work with. I spent a lot of time with the General Manager Nick Skwierczynski buying experience yet! My salesman was super knowledgeable and great to work with. I spent a lot of time with the General Manager Nick Skwierczynski who was able to find a perfect vehicle for me and my family. He was extremely patient when I told him the price we needed to be at monthly and assured me that they would find something that would be perfect. I visited 3 Acura dealerships in our area and this was by far the best of them all! I would highly recommend this store if you are in the market for a car. More
My experience at Acura Highland Park was initially great. I came in at 9:30 to test drive an Infiniti JX35 that I saw online. Sales rep Daniel Morgenstern assisted me and he was friendly, knowledgeable and personable. As we returned from the test drive, I mentioned to Daniel that the air conditioning in the vehicle didn’t seem to be very cold and asked him to have the service department look into it. He said absolutely and left for a minute or so before we began working out the price. Their pricing was initially a bit higher than what I wanted to spend but after about 15 minutes of negotiations, we agreed on what I felt was a fair price, and started the paperwork for me to purchase it. I had driven to the dealership myself that morning so I told Daniel that I’d come back for the vehicle the next day, which would also give them time to work out any issues with the air conditioning. As we completed the paperwork, there was the standard We Owe You Owe form which was left blank. I asked Daniel if we needed to add the air conditioning issue to it and he stated that we did not since that would be resolved before I took possession of the vehicle. I left the dealership a happy man and a satisfied customer. Later that evening I text Daniel to ask if the air conditioning had been fixed, as I wondered if I could pickup the vehicle that evening. He didn’t respond. I called the dealership and was told he was with another customer, but I was connected to sales manager Lee Gibson. I asked Lee if the issue with the AC had been addressed and he stated he knew nothing about Daniel making that commitment, but that he would have him contact me right away. It was about an hour before closing and I didn’t hear from Daniel that day. The next morning Daniel sent me a text message indicating that the service department had been very busy the day prior but that he would have them working on it first thing today. About eight hours later, I took the train from work and then an Uber to the dealership to pickup the vehicle. Sales Manager Cristian Baintan handed me the keys and walked me to the vehicle. Much to my surprise, the AC was blowing hot air, and the issue remained unresolved. I let the car idle for a bit to see if that would make a difference and it did not, so I went back inside and informed Cristian of the issue. Cristian went in the back to find out what happened, and eventually came out and said no one knew what I was talking about and that Daniel wasn’t answering his cellphone. I showed him the text message exchange between Daniel and I in which it’s clear that Daniel had committed to fixing the AC. He stated that since Daniel was off it was not going to get resolved today, and asked me to take the vehicle while he figured out a resolution. I explained that I live more than an hour away, and he said if that meant sending Daniel to pickup my car, that’s what he’d do. Cristian gave me his business card and said that he would be in touch within a day or two. I should have expected this, but two days became four, four became eight, and despite me sending Cristian several emails and ultimately copying General Manager Nick Skwierczynski, no one has followed up with me on the issue. I have a vehicle with no air conditioning in the middle of summer. I’m bothered by the fact that Daniel made a commitment, one which I have proven by providing text messages, and the dealership is acting as though they have no responsibility for the actions of their employee. Aside from that begs the obvious question, what kind of reputable dealership would have sold a car without working air conditioning? We’re not talking about ABC Auto Sales, this is Acura Highland Park, a dealership that I thought could be trusted. More

The service at this dealership has always been exceptional, which is why I’ve continued to buy vehicles here over the years, even before the change in ownership. Most recently, I brought in my leased 2023 RDX for routine maintenance. During my visit, the service advisor introduced me to Nick, the general manager, after I mentioned I was considering trading in for a new model. From the moment we started talking, Nick was professional, attentive, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right vehicle. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and walked me through every step of the process without any pressure. Nick personally handled my entire deal, from evaluating my trade-in to finalizing the paperwork, and made the experience completely seamless. Thanks to Nick’s exceptional service and follow-through, I drove away in a brand new 2025 RDX feeling confident and taken care of. His knowledge, transparency, and dedication to customer satisfaction truly set him apart. The level of hospitality and customer service I received exceeded all expectations. My family and I will absolutely continue coming here for all of our vehicle needs. More
Bought a car from Acura Highland Park almost 3 months ago, while working with finance the guy had added thousands of dollars in add ons without my permission, quite literally trying to scam me. I didn't ago, while working with finance the guy had added thousands of dollars in add ons without my permission, quite literally trying to scam me. I didn't realize this until it had been almost 2 months and I still haven’t gotten my loan information, that was because the guy got fired and all of my paperwork was lost. I tried calling dozens and dozens of times with no calls back because they were always “busy”. This went on for weeks until someone finally called me and got it sorted out. Now I am having an issue with registration and cannot get ahold of them once again! I have had countless issues with this dealership and I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying a vehicle from this place unless you’re trying to get scammed and never receive any help when you need it. More
My clock goes to 7:00 every time I get in my car. They couldn’t figure out how to fix it. After sitting there for 2 hours they promised to look into it & let me know when they found something out. I went in with Costco car appointment. Immediately told that would not get me the best deal. Although we said we had time limit it took over an hour to get actual numbers for our purchase. Immediately told that would not get me the best deal. Although we said we had time limit it took over an hour to get actual numbers for our purchase. We got around $4k off list then told we had to buy $2k protection package and needed to finance car. Although annoyed we bought a car anyway. More
