Regardless of who we deal with (the same person that checks us in is not necessarily the one that checks us out) has always been friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Though it can be pricey at times, we love our cars. We still have the 2001 CL we bought new off the showroom floor and also our 2005 MDX. We are very prompt about performing the recommended service and our cars keep on trucking. As a side note, the Hispanic gentleman that shuttles me back and forth to work is awesome too... neat guy. More

I have owned three Acura's and have always taken my vehicle's to Acura of Bellevue for maintenance. I never had any significant issues with their customer service until yesterday. After the way that I was treated by the Service Advisor by the name of Danny, I have decided I will not be returning to Acura of Bellevue. I have a brand new Acura sedan that has been having mechanical issues (which should not be happening because its a new car) and when I explained the issues to the service advisor, he told me that he would keep the car overnight and have a technician test drive the vehicle in order to find the malfunction. Well, I received a phone call by Danny the next day, he informed me that four different technicians test drove my vehicle and none of them were able to duplicate the malfunction, therefore, they could not fix my vehicle. When I arrived at Acura of Bellevue to pick up my vehicle, I noticed that only 3 miles had been used on the odometer. It should be obvious that they would need to drive the vehicle for more than 3 miles to even notice any type of malfunction. But I suspect that they did not have any interest in finding out the problem with my vehicle because the car was not purchased from Acura of Bellevue and it is under warranty, which means the Service Advisor does not make commission off of my service. I would also like to say that Acura of Lynnwood has displayed exceptional customer service and when I explained to them the issues that I was having with my vehicle, they told me to "bring it in and they will not return the vehicle to me until the issue is fixed." Now thats how a customer should be treated! It's unfortunate that employee's at Acura of Bellevue only care about their commission rather than actually satisfying the customer. More

Then I noticed a thump/kick when breaking harder coming down off the pass. Haven't had a thump/kick while breaking since but thought I may need new break pads so I took my car into Acura of Bellevue WA for inspection. June 20, 2012 - Acura of Bellevue evaluation, verbally communicated to me that 10% pad remained on front breaks & new rotors were needed - rear breaks were fine. Cost to repair $650.00. I asked about resurfacing the rotors and Mike Alonzo insisted the car needed new rotars. He explained something vague about turning I didn't understand so I got suspicious. Mike Alonzo said they had to order the new rotors from another dealership so I left my car there to be done the next day. I called Acura of Seattle WA and Anthony verbally told me they are usually able to resurface the rotors 2 or 3 times before having to replace them. I called my Acura dealership, Acura of Bloomington MN, and Randy also verbally told me they are usually able to resurface the rotors 2 or 3 times before having to replace them. I called Mike Alonzo at Acura of Bellevue and left him a voicemail NOT to fix my car. The next morning, June 21, 2012, he called me and said he canceled the rotor order, had my car washed, and that he wouldn't charge me for the inspection. I picked my car up later that afternoon. Weird, not even an offer to resurface the rotors but I was offered a nice cold water and a smile when I left. I decided to chance driving my car back to Minnesota and made a service appointment with my Acura of Bloomington MN dealership. June 28, 2012 - Acura of Bloomington MN documented evaluation, (RF 7 - LF 7 ; RB 6 - LB 6) Randy said my front breaks had more than 50 % life left. They also felt a slight shimmer when breaking but it was hardly noticeable and that the rotors would need resurfacing to get rid of it. Said it was up to me but that he wouldn't do anything. I chose to take Randy's recommendation leaving me with no repair needed and zero cost. This is an accurate account of my experience with Acura of Bellevue WA. I am certain that they tried to perform unnecessary work and purposely communicated to me dishonestly which could have resulted in charges to me of $650.00. Leadership at Acura of Bellevue is responsible for this behavior in their employees and I assume there are incentives for generating this type of service work when the opportunities arise. Leaving my car there overnight to wait for new rotors cost me a half day PTO which in my case results in a significant sum of money in and of itself. What a waste of time too, just what I wanted to do while visiting my family. When I think of Acura of Bellevue I think: "Thank you for the opportunity to wash and inspect your car and see if we can unload a chunk of money from you for imaginary work" Looking forward to dealer response for this one as I don't believe there is one. I caught you and you are probably lucky I don't pursue that matter further! More
