I am very disappointed with the new ownership. I have purchased 4 Acuras from the prior dealership and have had them serviced religiously and consistently at Smithtown Acura with never an issue a I have purchased 4 Acuras from the prior dealership and have had them serviced religiously and consistently at Smithtown Acura with never an issue and they were great to work with. I would even take their recommendations for service on items I had not considered or contemplated. I recently had some service work done at Advantage Acura and when I went to pa the bill, i received an unexpected surprise! They informed me that if I were going to pay by credit card, there would be a 3% surcharge. I never encountered this under the prior ownership. I informed them that i had never encountered this before and they said it was the 'higher ups' who made that decision. I then inquired concerning a special promotion I had received from Advantage Acura that essentially offered an oil charge, complementary topping off of fluids, checks and tire rotation for $99. I had asked them whether they could match a competing offer I had received from Bay Shore Acura which was for $39 for the same items of service with the exception of tire rotation which was not included. Given I will eventually need new tires, I didn't need the tire rotation anyway so I stated that I would just look for the oil change and could they do that for me at the $39 price that Bay Shore Acura was offering? I was subsequently informed that they do not honor competing offers from Bay Shore Acura. Needless to say between the 3% surcharge from my paying by credit card and along with not looking to satisfy or offer another alternative to a long time loyal customer has resulted in my rethinking my relationship with Advantage Acura. Frankly if i am going to be treated like this, I will likely seek another Acura dealership who will look to provide the level of respect and courtesy for a loyal customer that i previously enjoyed with Smithtown Acura. I recently traded my ILX in for an Rdx and had the most pleasant experience. From our sales person Marcos to the finance lady Karen, it was nothing short of amazing. They answered all questions I had and m pleasant experience. From our sales person Marcos to the finance lady Karen, it was nothing short of amazing. If you're looking to be scammed, this is the place for you. I have been a loyal customer for over eight years, and I have never felt so disrespected and lied too. My lease was up, and my wife and I went to look at a new car, we were assisted by Rocky who stated he took over for John Schepp due to him retiring. I was given a set price and signed a form with all the information I needed to set up insurance for the car. The only thing left to do was pick up the car on Monday. However, when I came in on Monday I was told by Karen had to get extended coverage because the car wouldn’t be fully covered. This increased my monthly payment and additional $100+.After looking into it more at home, I realized it wasn't fully explained, and they made it seem like I had no other option but to get the additional coverage . I called back a few hours later to clarify this, I was given the run around and told Karen left for the day. My wife called and also left a message. My wife received a call from Karen that stated she couldn’t speak with her but never called me back, knowing the situation. I called again left a voicemail then called back spoke with Karen who basically told me there was nothing she could do, she didn’t even try. I called back and asked for a general manager and was told that there was no general manager on site. When I my wife called and asked to speak to a general manager, she spoke with Jim, who basically mocked her and asked if she even knew what "full coverage" meant. He acknowledged that some of what I said was true but then claimed he couldn’t hear hear here properly. When my I called again , whoever I spoke to told me there was nothing I could do either. I don’t understand why they won’t try to help me. Is this a how they treat loyal customers, smile in their face then stab them in the back? I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had, and I want everyone to know that if you want to deal with people who are only interested in your money, this is the place to go. Shame on them for taking advantage of loyal hard working people. I have yet to receive a call back from anyone. Very unprofessional More

I’ve owned 5 Acuras in the past some purchased from Smithtown Acura. I walked in to just glance at the new Integra and was greeted by Anthony Verderosa. From the very beginning it was a very stress fre Smithtown Acura. I walked in to just glance at the new Integra and was greeted by Anthony Verderosa. From the very beginning it was a very stress free environment. I did not have much time on this visit but Anthony answered any initial questions I had. I called him to later that week to set up a test drive and start to talk $. Once I determined what color specs he coordinated ordering my car. I was supposed to take delivery in sept but Anthony was able to work some magic and I took delivery on August 5th. Couldn’t be happier with the attention / customer service from day 1 and in love with the Integra. Highly recommend going to Smithtown Acura and Anthony will be my go to sales rep!!! More
