I had the complete opposite experience at Advantage Acura of Naperville compared to another Acura dealer I recently worked with. I then provided a competitive trade-in quote from Carvana, which I’ve successfully used several times over the past two years. At that point, the sales manager stepped in and incorrectly told me Carvana cannot sell cars in Illinois. When I explained that they absolutely can and shared my past experiences, he insisted they never honor their online quotes. I calmly explained that in my experience, they simply inspect the car, drive it briefly, and wire the money immediately. His response was, “If it’s that easy, go sell it to them and come back and buy our car.” I explained that doing so would cause me to lose the sales tax trade-in benefit. He then told me I “wasn’t making sense.” The conversation became frustrating enough that I had to firmly ask for my keys back after they had taken them during the appraisal process. At that point, I decided I neither needed nor wanted to do business there. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience. I went to McGrath Acura of Libertyville the next day and purchased a car there instead. Great experience there! More

We have recently purchased an Acura ADX from Advantage Acura of Naperville. This is 5-star dealership! We had such a positive experience with our salesman Le Roy Churchill & Operations Director Mark Pisoni. Le Roy was very pleasant and friendly to deal with. We went to the dealership late Friday night after they closed. LeRoy let us in anyway and patiently showed us the vehicle, took time to explain all the features & had Said Romero take us for a test drive. We returned back Monday with a trade-in. Mark Pisoni appraied our trade-in. He was easy to work with, very helpful & understanding. Mark was easily accessible & very welcoming. Le Roy helped us achieve our goal in getting the car we wanted with without pressure & we could not be happier. Everyone we encountered in this dealership was wonderful. On Saturday they sold me a CPO Acura MDX. On Monday I needed a jump. The Acura roadside assistance can and jumped me, and the gentleman that helped me informed me that the battery I had was ” On Monday I needed a jump. The Acura roadside assistance can and jumped me, and the gentleman that helped me informed me that the battery I had was ”done.” He told me I needed to immediately replace the battery. So the 112 point inspection failed to identify that the battery was no longer good. How can I trust anything related to that inspection? If you can’t even figure out if the battery is good or not. This kind of lack of attention to detail is concerning. Holly, my sales person did a good job. The finance guy was a little annoying with his attempts to sell me an extended warranty after I made it clear that I was not going to do so that day. Overall, I had a solid buying experience, but I won’t be recommending anyone go to a dealership where they don’t even do a good job of the basics. More

We drove it on a test track and then we went back inside. I told them i’d come back by end of week to buy it and they were understanding. When i went back and we discussed numbers they were able to match what my credit union was offering. So i sat down with Churchill and later PJ and they got me through all the paperwork and finally i left within a few hours with a (new to me) ev. More
