I have never had a more unpleasant experience than I did during this visit. The waiting room was colder than a meat locker, and two and one-half hours after arriving for an oil change and tire rotation I s during this visit. He checked and said it was done and the tech was saying the car needed brakes. I knew that and had asked for an estimate at the start and had told the service rep I was not doing that yet. More

1. Unfortunately, I was NOT able to schedule an appointment through my Cadillac app, after being reminded through the app of the need to schedule my 52,500 mile service appointment. I had to call t appointment through my Cadillac app, after being reminded through the app of the need to schedule my 52,500 mile service appointment. I had to call the dealership directly to schedule the appointment. 2. While I had to wait a week for the next available appointment date (due to the 4th of July holiday), the appointment was NOT canceled or rescheduled due to the stormy/flood weather experienced in Chicago during that holiday week. 3. I made the appointment to address the known 2021 XT5 fan/thermostat issue (which left me with no air conditioning during Chicago's heat wave) and my 52,500 service. However, I only have documentation of the fan/thermostat issue be addressed/corrected. There was notation that the service tech performed multi-point inspection-so maybe that qualifies. 4. I'm appreciative of the large waiting area in the rear of the service department. I'm able to work while I wait. The area is super clean, coffee and snacks are provided and there is clean play area for children. A young girl played in the area while her parents waited. More
