Had an old leaking tire replaced due to dry rot. They said I needed outer tie rods for $1340. 63k miles so they likely needed replaced. They didn't say anything about inner tie rod ends and didn't n They said I needed outer tie rods for $1340. 63k miles so they likely needed replaced. They didn't say anything about inner tie rod ends and didn't need an alignment.. They were either lying to get a sale and/or didn't know what they were talking about. If you do outer tie rods, might as well do the inners and should always get alignment especially when buying new tires. I went to Pep Boys and got a second new tire, inner and outer tie rods, alignment, balance and road hazard for less than their price for two outer tie rods only. I used to give them all my business but not anymore. More
