Made an appointment to have warranty work done and was told they definitely had the part. Drove 45 minutes to have the work done and was then told they do not have the part. They told me they had special ordered the part after finding out they did not have it. However, what they did not do was call me to reschedule the service. The service person did the whole 'the other guy is on vacation, so it is not my fault' bit. When I asked why I was not informed when they discovered the part was not there, his answer was 'Don't worry, hour part is on special order'. He did not seem to understand that having a part on special order does nothing for me right now when I am dropping off my truck. So, I drove 45 minutes there and then 45 minutes back for no reason except that Alpine does not value their customer's time or expenses (diesel fuel in my case) when bringing their vehicles in for service. Very disappointed More

OK service however what should normally take 30 or 40 mins for an oil change took 1 1/2 hrs. I had an appointment which doesn't seem to make a difference if it takes that long for an oil change. Not efficient in serving and apparently don't care about the customers time. I requested another service tech and he was much better to work with. I unfortunately paid for lifetime oil changes and would not recommend it...especially since it takes so long to get it done. Better off going to grease xxxxxx, they do just as good a job in a more efficient time. More
