We’re sorry, however, for the frustration caused by the follow-up communication from the lender. We understand how that exchange could feel upsetting. For financed vehicles, lenders are required to verify active insurance coverage directly for their records, which is why they may request confirmation even if insurance was already provided to the dealership. That said, we regret that the messaging came across as admonishing or disrespectful. Communication is critical—especially after warranty engine work—and it’s clear we fell short in fully explaining findings, next steps, and recommendations before and after your visit. We also understand your concern that an issue addressed during the original repair should have been clearly disclosed, and that you were hoping for some consideration on labor given the circumstances. While diagnostic fees can still apply when an issue cannot be duplicated, we recognize that this does not lessen the frustration you felt, particularly after multiple visits and inconsistent outcomes. We do appreciate you noting that David was responsive via email, and we will share both your positive and critical feedback with our leadership team.
