Last week I visited Auto Nation in White Bear Lake and met salesperson Colton. He was friendly and knowledgeable about all the options on the vehicles we were interested in. I called Autonation Ford multiple times to speak to someone from the finance department to cancel my extended warranty after selling my car. It took multiple calls before I actually was able to speak t someone from the finance department to cancel my extended warranty after selling my car. It took multiple calls before I actually was able to speak to someone to find out how I could cancel. When I finally got someone on the phone they told me what I needed to bring and that I can come in anytime to fill out the simple paper work. On my day off (Saturday) I drove to the dealership which took about 50 minutes to be told that they are short staffed and that I need to come back on another day to do the cancellation. I requested to speak to a manager and when he met me (Jerry) he told me that they are short staff and that I needed to make an appointment for Monday. I told Jerry that the director of finance told me I could come in anytime to do the simple, quick paperwork and that this wasn't acceptable as I drove 50 minutes north to get this done. As I got upset, Jerry finally said he could do it. As he brought me to his office he was extremely rude and was beat red in the face. It literally took him 5 minutes to get the cancellation paperwork completed and for me to sign. My entire experience with Autonation Ford was poor from buying the vehicle to cancelling my extended warranty. This two faced dealership will only treat you well when they want you to buy a car, but after you sign the paperwork it all goes downhill. The front desk receptionist and the manager Jerry have very poor and rude customer service skills. The Governor even announced a mandatory face mask requirement indoors and I found many workers not masking. I will be preordering my 2021 Ford Bronco from a different dealership as Autonation Ford has lost my business and I will let others know of my experience as well. More

First thing is I noticed how clean the showroom was and with the Covid -19 thing going on that's a plus to us senior citizens. My salesman was Geoff who got right to work to get me a test drive. Geoff is a worker, straight forward and easy to talk to. He was helpful and didn't dance around which I appreciate. I needed a car and the salesman offered me some options. After the test drive I said lets get the deal done so I sat down with Geoff and made an offer. As Scooby Doo says "Ruh Roh", no negotiation, the price is the price so after trying for a bump down in price I agreed to paying the asking price. The salesman, sales manager and finance guy were all straight forward and respectful and we closed the deal. I'm happy with the car even though I went over my budget. Overall a good experience. I am not used to the no negotiation car buying but it does take some drama out of your car buying experience. I'd buy from them again and Geoff would get my business. The car I bought is a 2015 RAV 4 Limited with 54,000 miles on it. Based on its condition I paid a fair price and have no regrets. Overall I would give Auto Nation of White Bear 5 stars. More

He was insulting and not to mention it took a long time, we were extremely disappointed and it got very heated during the interaction between us and finance. Keep in mind we have bought around 17 vehicles and this was the very 1st time that we have had a horrible experience, every time the finance is super smooth and in and out in a hurry. The only reason we did buy from them is the Finance director came out and got involved to diffuse the situation, at one time my wife was saying how rude the finance guy was and he smiled at her. So if it wasn't for the finance director and the nice used car manager we would of walked. More

$140.00 Oil Change and Left Old Filter On I went into AutoNation Ford Service Dept. in White Bear Lake, MN during a real cold snap, because I did not want to change my own oil in the cold. Wh I went into AutoNation Ford Service Dept. in White Bear Lake, MN during a real cold snap, because I did not want to change my own oil in the cold. What a mistake this turned out to be. I paid extra for the full synthetic oil because I want my truck to last and it's also easier on it in the cold weather starting. I had to wait several hours, which I kind of thought was due to the cold weather and maybe they were busier than normal. So I get my truck back and next time I go to change oil, I find the inept technician didn't even replace the oil filter from the previous oil service. I know this because it was some auto store brand filter and not a Motorcraft filter. At this point I am left wondering if I got the correct oil, or if it was even changed? Very disappointed. Do not recommend them to anyone. More
2 for 2...Terrible Experiences 1st visit (WBL Autonation): I live 5 minutes from the dealership so I thought I'd give em a try. I met with a sales agent to purchase a new F-150. Tho 1st visit (WBL Autonation): I live 5 minutes from the dealership so I thought I'd give em a try. I met with a sales agent to purchase a new F-150. Thought things were going well at first, then I realized he didn't really listen to anything I had said for what I was actually looking for in a truck, all while he was trying to get me to purchase a more expensive model. REALLY!?! They of course had some nice vehicles, but he just was a terrible listener. I didn't have time for this, so I drove 25 minutes away from my house to North Country Ford and the experience was 180* different, for the better of course. I ended up purchasing a new F-150 from there! 2nd Visit (WBL Autonation): Like I said before, 5 minutes away from my house. Maybe the service department will be a better experience....NOPE...even worse, not even close! I bring my truck to get an oil change, tire rotation & a "complementary" wash, pretty simple one would think. So, I drop off the truck and they contact me when it's "ready". I go to pick it up, I pay for the services, get in my truck, realize quickly, they FAILED to rotate my tires or wash the truck like they said they would do. The wash, whatever, not that big of a deal, but only because I checked, I noticed the tires weren't rotated! I guess the oil was changed, but at this point who knows! I ask about why this happened with my service agent, she looks into it and says, sorry, we'll take care of that now. Super, I'm so excited to wait here for that! 1 hr. later...to rotate tires? They say, it's all ready! I get to my truck, of course it's still not washed, dirty steering wheel inside from the mechanic now, me frustrated of course. I ask for the manager, oh he's not in right now, I'll get you his number. I call the number 3 times over a weeks period & leave messages each time. NO return call. This dealership is GARBAGE! Sales Dept. Slogan: LISTEN...NO NEED FOR THAT, WE KNOW WHAT YOU WANT ALREADY! Service Dept. Slogan: WE DO IT RIGHT...NO REALLY, I SWEAR WE DO... More

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I leased a vehicle from the salesman David Aune. He told me that if I purchased additional miles I would be refunded whatever miles I did not use. He said this vehicle from the salesman David Aune. He told me that if I purchased additional miles I would be refunded whatever miles I did not use. He said this in front of my mother and boyfriend. I turned my Vehicle in last week and the lady at the front desk was like keys please? I said and I’m supposed to meet with someone to discuss miles I’m supposed to be reimbursed for. The lady at the front desk called a salesman up named Bob. My boyfriend and I spoke with Dave and explained to him what Dave said. He replies with, “I believe you I just don’t know how we’re gonna go about paying you.” He told me he would Call me the next business day (Monday) and he never did I had to call back the next day and he said he spoke with the manager and he said that it must’ve been a miscommunication and that Dave never said that I spoke with Dave today & asked if I could meet with him to talk about the miles on my lease that ended. He said no no no no I’m not meeting with you. I don’t know what you were told. I told him you said this in front of my mother, my boyfriend and myself. Why would I return a vehicle with 7-8,000 miles extra that I paid for? If I knew that I wasn’t going to get a refund I would have driven my vehicle on long road trips rather than my boyfriends or my mothers. I reached out to customer service via the chat and was told someone from customer service will reach out to me ASAP and rest assured no need to worry we’re here to help. Well guess what nobody contacted me so I had to reach out again and told the customer service everything that happened again and that I would like to speak with corporate so now I’m waiting to hear back from corporate customer service. So lesson learned Don’t go to AutoNation White Bear Lake and work with Dave Aune!! He’s a scammer!! He probably thought I was going to keep the car and didn’t think I would follow up with him on the fact that I was expecting the refund on the miles I was Supposed to be reimbursed for. Once you sign papers, to them you are a nobody!!! They don’t care!!! All they want is your money! More
