Much better experience this service appointment than my last time. Sean was very attentive. They completed a transmission replacement well within my expectations and it runs much better! An area of continu last time. Sean was very attentive. They completed a transmission replacement well within my expectations and it runs much better! An area of continuous improvement is needed in communication follow up. when voicemails are left from the customer. That said the messages sent via text as updates were very helpful. Before I can refer someone I would need to experience more of the same in future visits. Staffing is an issue everywhere so I have empathy here, especially for the woman working the service cashere desk. She was running her head off and maintaining a positive attitude. Apologizing for the delays when really it was not needed. It was very apparent she was doing the best she could. More
Horrible experience trying to get my recalled toelink replaced. Three times and it still didn’t get completed. I guess I’m the fool for continuing to go back. replaced. Three times and it still didn’t get completed. I guess I’m the fool for continuing to go back. More
Long story short, had a service appointment that I made a couple weeks in advance. In my request, even put in a note "please verify parts/availability.." Arrived first thing in the morning on a Friday and couple weeks in advance. In my request, even put in a note "please verify parts/availability.." Arrived first thing in the morning on a Friday and was told they were short staffed and wouldn't likely be getting to it until Monday. Why didn't they notify me ahead of arrival and wasting someones time to give me a ride home? If I would have been notified ahead of time, I could have just re-scheduled. I get labor is tough these days, but basic communication shouldn't be... Instead, left car Friday, Sat, Sunday, Monday. Was promised an update first thing Monday morning. Got no communication until I followed up in the afternoon. Guess how much work got done? Nothing! Won't be going back. Left my car for four days, zero work was completed. FWIW, it was my second visit. First time was a scheduled oil change. Despite scheduling it, I sat there for over two hours... They gave me a half off coupon as a result so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice... More

When their receptionist does answer he can’t do anything and just says they don’t have enough employees and are too busy! I do want my key back though! More
Unhappy with the treatment and communication I continue to receive from AutoNation Ford of White Bear Lake. I purchased my F350 new in December 2020, and since then working with the Service Dept is a const to receive from AutoNation Ford of White Bear Lake. I purchased my F350 new in December 2020, and since then working with the Service Dept is a constant struggle and very disappointing. Most recently I made an appt 3 weeks in advance to drop off my truck for a warranty check (faulty headlamp switch) and a safety recall. After several hours with no callback or diagnosis, I called only to be sent to voicemail. I left a message, expecting a call in a reasonable time - 90 minutes later I called again. After circling through the voice system for several minutes, my call was finally answered only to be put on hold without any acknowledgement. Several minutes later the call was picked up, and I was informed that my truck had not even been looked at by a service tech, rather it was “in queue”. I asked for a timeline and there was no time given. I asked why make an appointment if you are just going in to the queue, and why the service writers did not inform me of this? No acceptable response other than “that’s the way they do it here.” I informed the person I would be picking my vehicle up and the response was “that’s certainly your choice.” YES IT IS. This is not the first poor interaction I have had with the dealership since purchasing a new truck from them. Several appointments I had to take my vehicle to the Fleet services 2 miles away - who does not have a shuttle. My last appt it took a week to get parts and no loaners were available so I was without a vehicle for a week. In all my years of purchasing, driving, and servicing vehicles I have never had as poor of an experience and lack of customer care as I have here. If I could rate them ZERO STARS I would. I am disenfranchised with Ford now, having been a loyal GM driver for over 3 decades I decided to give them a try again - bad decision. AutoNation and Ford need to fix this dealer or close it down. It’s not a good representation of the Ford brand. More
