Then in January 15 th I went to the dealer to cancel the warranty and did not like the way the finance manager Frankl S. took the situation. First, because he was angry that we were cancelling. Secondly when we bought the car he had told us oil changes were included and I have 2 other witnesses that heard it from his mouth, so there we were arguing in his office about whether he said it or not i then ignored what he was saying because he ticked me off. Third when we made the cancelation he made me sign a paper for cancelation but NEVER gave me a copy. He also told me it would take 6-10 weeks, well its been 10 weeks already and ive gotten nothing. So march 17 i stopped by the dealer to see what was going on and apparently Frankl S. was no longer there and had to sign another paper for cancelation and the new person told me in 30 days I should see that money and that frankl should have given me a copy More

BUYERS BEWARE! I bought a used car about a year ago from Bob Rohrman's Acura dealership in Palatine, IL . It was a pleasure working with the original salesman. He gave great customer service That was unfortunately the only good experience I had. I purchased the extra warranty for something around $2,000 to be on the safe side. A couple of weeks later, the CHECK ENGINE light went off. I had to argue to get that fixed as "it wasn't covered under the warranty". Then 8 months later, I go to the Secretary of State to find out that my vehicle had never been registered from the dealership. I went back to the dealership to ask them to kindly fix the issue.I had to go 3-4 times and each time I was told that the registration issue was fixed by the dealership. It never was. Now it's been a year, my car is paid off, I still have no title in hand, but I am being told again that I "will receive it soon". Basically I drove this car illegally for the past year, not registered, and nobody had a title for it, pretty much any buyer's nightmare. I was EXTREMELY patient with Marcin Ajdukiewicz, the General Manager who kept telling me that the issue was fixed, but it wasn't. His customer service skills are the worst I have ever experienced in my life. The Secretary of State recommended I call the State Police on them as they were doing illegal acts. It is illegal for a dealership to let a customer drive a car off their lot and not register it. Mine was not registered for more than a year. I finally dropped off my car there, and told them I needed a loaner car until this issue was resolved once and for all. I also told them they needed to service it AND fix the Check Engine light. 2-3 weeks later, the dealership called to inform me that "the car is ready and legal now". Now, everything is "fixed" - with no proof. I still do not have the title or verification that it is legal. What did I get for going through all this stress and hassle ? Nothing. Not an oil change, no service, the car barely cleaned, they didn't even fill up the windshield fluid! I do not recommend anyone buying a car at this dealership. Marcin is careless about his business and has no customer service skills. Hopefully, I will receive a title for my car one day, and I hope that my car is now legal... Best of luck. More
