Stay away from this place. They will lie to your face. "Don't worry, we will take care of it this afternoon and I will call you in the morning". He did not say from this place. They will lie to your face. "Don't worry, we will take care of it this afternoon and I will call you in the morning". He did not say what year as I still have not been called. Have a 2019 Explorer for 4 months and the drivers seat back leather trim is peeling. Service manager looked at it and said we did it, that it was punctures and not covered by warranty. We said we were not satisfied with that and He took pictures to send to Ford for warranty approval. After multiple calls and visits over the next three weeks, (they never called us) He was finally pressured into sending info to Ford. After He decided that they were punctures and relayed that false info to Ford they denied coverage. Now they say that they will pay to send the seat out to some backyard upholster to get it fixed stating that it would not be a Ford authorized repair. Do they think that I'm stupid and would void all rights to warranty coverage for the seat? They just won't do the right thing and replace the seat back. Talked to management the same day that warranty was denied and three management people looked at it and agreed that it was peeling and defective. Even stated that if it didn't hold up any better than that then there was a serious quality issue. Promised that they would get with factory rep that afternoon to take care of it and would call me the next morning. Still waiting on that call. Just another lie they told me. I have owned many, many Fords over the last 40 years but this dealership is the worst ever. Lie after lie after lie. Go somewhere else or maybe even another brand especially if ford corporate does not step in and correct this issue. Unless you are there to buy something the people are rude and ignore you. Read the reviews and you can believe them. More

They called and said it had been sold(my truck was coming from another dealer). However I was told it had certain items on it. Well it didn't have them such as a trailer brake. Ok fast forward to 2016. It rained one night and there was water all in my back seat. The third brake light leaked which is a common problem I found out. This was supposedly a warranty item but Ford told Asheboro Ford to clean the headliner and seats. They did but the headliner was ruined from day one. They had ordered a headliner first but Ford had said to clean. They sent the headliner back in the process. Since I had got angry about it Asheboro Ford said they will not serve my no longer. No I didn't threaten them in any way. So I traded my truck in with Terry Labonte Chevrolet. They gave me a great deal and recently had a warranty issue with the paint. They treated me with great concern. Even the salesman Caleb helped with the process. No arguments just a good service experience. I have owned several Ford's and probably the last because of Asheboro Ford and Ford motor company. Oh I bought a 2013 Silverado and they still gave me the warranty coverage without hassle. They stand behind the customer. More

When I called to schedule an appointment, I was also told there was a recall on the throttle body which would be no problem to have fixed at the same time (my phone call was pleasant). Once I bring my car to have it serviced, the technician (Jason) was EXTREMELY rude and commented that my car's problems came from a bottle of soda and a bottle of lotion found under one of the seats. Never mind the RECALL that lead to my visit! He then proceeded to say that they normally charge for the services performed, but he wasn't going to charge this time. Once again, never mind the FREE RECALL SERVICE that I was previously told would be provided!! This dealership is the most convenient to my location, but will NEVER have my vehicle serviced here again! Extremely disappointing! More
bad service manager I went in to get my van checked out due to check engine light and hard to start. mechanic was professional and was able to communicate with him no pr I went in to get my van checked out due to check engine light and hard to start. mechanic was professional and was able to communicate with him no problem, but was not sure of problem yet. Then was told may need to change a few fuel injectors and not sure how many yet, and price is 900.00 per injector. I have 8 injectors. I asked to speak to mechanic again. This time service manager refused. He said mechanic is out for a test drive. I said ill wait. He said I cannot cause mechanic is busy and has other things to do and for me to speak to him. I was not sure why he wouldn't let me speak to mechanic. I felt very uncomfortable then and felt something is just not right. The service manager did not work on my car and if im about to spend 900.00 on each injector I should be able to speak to the mechanic and ask questions. I spent 220.00 today and got nothing in return and nothing fixed but learned what bad service is. DO NOT BUY OR TAKE YOUR CAR TO ASHEBORO FORD! More

He t We have an 2002 F250 Superduty 7.3 diesel. About the 3rd week of Sept. 2015 I had an ABS light come on. I stopped by and spoke with Doug Glass. He told me what it probably was. I was then talking about I had put complete brakes(rotors, calibers, pads) on this truck 3 times. He told me that I should use Ford parts and shops who had done this work previously, had not. He said they probably did not grease sliders properly for calibers. I felt very comfortable with Doug that he was honest and sincere. On Sept. 28, 2015, the left front end started grinding and making a loud sound. I had to drive home 22 miles and had just begun to make the drive when this happened. I made it home, but could not drive the truck any further. Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015, I went to talk to Doug. He told me he was not the truck mechanic but he would help look after me. He took me to service writer, where he told them to look after me. They said they could tow the truck from my home to the shop. Even though, I didn't buy my truck from them, they gave me a loaner car at no charge. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Doug Glass, Jon Richardson and John Baxley. I will not hesitate to take my truck to them again for any reason. I will recommend them to anyone I can. It was an awesome experience. Thank you very much to Jon, Doug and John. my car would not start when i went to leave work. Called the service dept at my local Ford and they were trying to page someone in service. Was left on hold for several mins. End result, no one could help the service dept at my local Ford and they were trying to page someone in service. Was left on hold for several mins. End result, no one could help me because "everyone is leaving for the day". Unfortunately, i was told this several times and got the impression it was an inconvenience to help me. Yes, it was inconvenient as i was stranded at work! I was then told to have my car towed. I asked about Roadside Assistance and she said to call them and they would call me in the morning. No one from the local dealer called the following morning. i have been a repeat customer, i purchased the premium extended warranty and i am very displeased with customer service to be treated this way. NEVER HAVE YOUR CAR REPAIRED HERE EVER. We took my NEVER HAVE YOUR CAR REPAIRED HERE EVER. We took my wifes car to the dealer because the codes were not able to be read at autozone. First time to NEVER HAVE YOUR CAR REPAIRED HERE EVER. We took my wifes car to the dealer because the codes were not able to be read at autozone. First time told that both O2 Sensors were bad. OK Spent about $500.00 to repair. got it home and check engine came on again. Brought it back. Next told Bad Fuel Pump. Ok they did work with me on the labor cause they did misdiagnose the problem. Another couple hundred. This is all right after Xmas when I am really broke. Guess what got the car home and check engine light on again. The car really ran 10 times worse then when I brought it there. They even tried to start to take the dash apart and messed up the trim. I am sure they were going to disconnect the check engine light in dash. The mechanics trained there remind me of the monkeys beating a a transmission in that old AAmco Comercial. Sorry SOB even tried to send me another bill for 50.00 bucks more. I sold this car at a huge loss and it had low miles and was nice before they got a hold of it. Maybe a good place to buy a NEW CAR but never let any of those techs near your car. If I had not had so much going on with health problems I would have taken them to district court and made this right instead of taking a giant loss. The worst part the guy I sold it to called me to say it was overheating. do you think those idiots discovered that at Asheboro Ford. the Answer is NO. This comes from a former Police Officer of many years and I have also worked on cars for years but have trouble with all the sensors so they have you by the short and curleys and they know it. Even the loaner they gave my wife had no oil in it and broke down and was towed from my house. Bottem Line, No training at this dealer, they are parts changers. If you have had these problems as well and want to go after them I would Gladly testify for you in court. S.L. MALONE spencermalone@hotmail.com More
