Atlantic Honda service I brought my 2016 Pilot in for what I believed to be warranty service. My service advisor was Nick Frank. Here is what I spoke to him about: R I brought my 2016 Pilot in for what I believed to be warranty service. My service advisor was Nick Frank. Here is what I spoke to him about: Repair Services: Other Concern Not Specifically Listed • Infotainment system: (1) intermittently blacks out, (2) "Unfortunately, the process com android phone has stopped" error message (3) " Unfortunately, com.clarion.displayaudio.extframework has stopped" error message. (4) When navigating, system thinks car is off road. Transmission System Problem • RPM Pulsates between 45 - 65 mph. I got a call about an hour or so after my 7:30 am drop off. Nick explained to me that there was an update for the infotainment system issues and that it was covered. He also said that as far as the transmission goes, it needed a software update and 3 transmission flushes. The update was covered but the transmission flushes were not and at $135 per hour for 2 hours, plus...etc. He was referencing TSB 017-011 Which was for the 9-speed transmission which I did not own. He also said it had expired. However, I had done some research regarding the pulsating RPM and found a TSB " 17-014 - 2016–17 Pilot: Judder from the Torque Converter Lock-Up Clutch". This covered the issue I was having and the work was completed as a full warranty job. This was the first time I serviced my car at Atlantic. I was disappointed. Had I not been a knowledgeable consumer, I would have walked out of there $300+ poorer. Oh, and, my car didn't get washed :-( Respectfully, More
Got a new tire, which we found out was not covered at all, even though it had a defective bubble. Car is only 3.5 months old.
