My spouse and I were internet searching for a safe, reliable and affordable car for our daughter who will soon turn 16. We thought we had found the perfect vehicle at Bedford Audi,and after a day or two of conversation we decided to purchase the car sight unseen (due to the distance from our home to the dealership) and placed a $500 deposit on the vehicle (which was required by the dealership)to insure that the car would not be sold (we also offered to wire the total amount to the dealership and were told that wasn't necessary). You can imagine our surprise when we called to make arrangements to pick up our daughter's gift and finally get a copy of our purchase agreement (the finance lady had put us off all day), we were told that car had just been sold and the "manager" had approved the transaction as customers "in front" of sales people were more valuable and told that we were out of luck. My advice to those of you considering working with Bedford Audi is to choose another dealership or at the very least not shop their on-line inventory as they do not honor agreements made over the telephone even with deposit. We've known others to refer to car salesmen as "snakes" and assume if their lips are moving, they're lying, but thankfully before our experience with Bedford Audi, we can say we've never experienced such under-handed, unprofessional, dishonest behavior from a business, car dealership or otherwise. Recently Fred Baker Audi has been changed to Audi Bedford and it has definetley changed for the better. They are expanding their showroom and service area. I bought a used Audi from them and they have neve and it has definetley changed for the better. They are expanding their showroom and service area. I bought a used Audi from them and they have never Disappointed. Nick (who I bought the car from) is always very helpful and will answer any question I have. He is willing to take the time out that no other Dealership or Sales Employee is willing to. John is an amazing service advisor. When I took my car in he went over everything they would do for it. I took my car in at 9am for a 105,000 Mile Service (Yes Audi's are very dependable) and it was done at 11am on a Saturday. I was treated with a brand new loaner car. I was treated like first class there. Whenever I take my car in he also makes sure to call me whenever he finds something that wasnt't in the original quote which I appreciate immensely so I don't come back with things that I didnt ask to be completed. Audi Bedford has treated me like family and thats why I will continue to come back there month after month and year after year. Audi Bedford you have a customer for life!! Thanks for all that you guys do for me!!!! More
This dealership is absolutley great! I recently bought a 2007 Audi A6 and they came and delivered it to the house. I purchased a pre-owned Audi A6 from Fred Baker in spite of the rude sales staff. Big mistake. Got the vehicle home and discovered the muffler was damaged and needed complete replacement. Manager said I was out-of-luck and was very arrogant - a simple "I'm sorry there's nothing I can do" would have sufficed. Call me a wide-eyed optimist but I expect better from a high-end dealership. Not recommended, there are plenty of other Audi dealers in the area where you can take your business. More

I was looking for a new Audi, and so I wanted to make sure that I would visit all 3 largest Audi dealers in the Cleveland area. Fred Baker is the largest dealer here in Cleveland, but I was shocked by ho sure that I would visit all 3 largest Audi dealers in the Cleveland area. Fred Baker is the largest dealer here in Cleveland, but I was shocked by how indifferent and arrogant they were. The general manager was unfriendly and not helpful at all. I could not believe how poorly I was treated at a dealership that is supposed to sell premium cars. I had much better experiences at Lexus, BMW and Acura dealerships. I will never buy from this dealer. What a waste of my time. More
I have a 2002 Audi which is leaking gas whenever I put gas in the tank or drive it and makes the inside smell very bad. So I looked on the internet to see what the problem could be and had read there were gas in the tank or drive it and makes the inside smell very bad. So I looked on the internet to see what the problem could be and had read there were 2 recalls for my Audi 2002 A6 2.7L with the same issue. I called this dealer and was told it would cost around near $2000.00 to check it since they had to take out the 4 wheel drive (quatro) axel and transmission off to get to the gas tank. They wouldnt even listen to my request to check their recall work to see if this was the issue without paying them! I had found out this dealer did the factory recall work on this recal. I took my car to a local mechanic who check everything from the bottom by lifting the car and he told me its leaking from the top , under the seat where the gas tank is and thought it would be a rollover valve. He called his Audi Dealer Tech friend and the audi certified tech came in pulled the seat out , unscrewed the plastic plate and woo hoo the rollover valve was leaking! I called again this dealership and was told they would not look at my car free regarding this issue because they could not verify my word where I had seen the gas comming out from the tank! 04/23/10 I went to Mr. Baker the III personally and explained to him the above and he got angry with me using colorful language since I demanded the problem resolved, then he called in the service manager who again said "We cannot tell what it is until we take things apart" yet again I explained to the service manager my story then Mr. Baker III got fed up and told the service manager to check it under the seat no charge! They did that and seen it was the rollover valve leaking, I thoughT my problems were solved , nope they have to call Audi and will get back to me , in the meanwhile they gave me my keys and told me my cars out front and not to put any gas in it. Now Iam stuck with a parked car , didnt even offer me a loaner because of their bad work. I called Audi USA and filed a complaint and will do so with the Cleveland Better Business Beauru , I advise anyone with problems regardin BAKER Audi do the same , they are ripping people off (tried it to me) and will do so in the future. I am also going to speak to a attorney to recoup mechanic fees, loss time off work , mental anguish, repair cost so that another dealer can fix the issue! STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS - BAD NEWS!!!! Note: Audi Mechanic who first found the problem, stated the car can catch fire or blow up my engine, Nice thanks Baker Audi for nothing! More
I had my A4 2.8Q towed to Audi as Mr.Tire said it was overheated and dangerous to drive, on a Saturday! Fred Backer service personnel called Monday morning (8:30 am) and said they could not get the car t overheated and dangerous to drive, on a Saturday! Fred Backer service personnel called Monday morning (8:30 am) and said they could not get the car to overheat, instead needed a cam gasket replacement and would take couple of days! Wednesday morning, got a call from them that the car is ready for pickup. I called the service personnel's extension, got no answer. So I showed up at Fred Backer to pick up the car. They made me pay $1500 for this out of which 10 hours was labor! The mileage in/out was 103129/103131. To top it off, the car was not in the lot nor anywhere near Fred Baker! They could not even get hold of Chris and when they finally did, they told me oh he is on a test drive, will take 5 - 10 minutes. Some of the personnel had some 'this is not right' expression on their faces. I waited for almost 45 minutes until he got back. The guy parked the car, got out did not say anything and went in. I got in my car only to smell a stinking cigarette smoke :( And 10 more miles added on to the car and deep scrathes on the hood that make the paint come off! Did not expect this from Fred-Baker. Where had my car been? I have had the same work done before and takes 3 hours and not more than $500! I had called Audi before to ask how much it would cost and they infact had qouted $500! What were those additional labor hours for? My water pump was replaced by the same people less than a year ago, so was still covered under warranty. More
