We are both Air Force Veterans, and we hit it off right away. I didn’t care for the sales manager, but Kevin acted as a peacekeeper and did what it took to put me in the car that I wanted; at a price that I thought was fair. He answers his phone, and returns calls. I wanted to get my new vehicle inspected at my own mechanic, and Kevin arranged for me to receive a check for $35 to cover the inspection once I gave him a copy of the receipt. If not, I would have had to get it inspected at their garage and I never think that that’s a good idea. Their” Documentation Fee” is $299 and printed on the invoice/sales agreement. Fair enough, but you might want to take that into consideration when you negotiate a price for the car you like, or as I did, for my trade-in. I’d recommend Mattie Imports to a friend/family member. Everything went pretty smooth and they gave me the feeling that they really care about their customers, which I’ve found isn’t always the case with other dealers. More

This is my second Jetta purchase in a year form Mattie and both have been great. My new Jetta has really loud tires and you would think you would have top haggle with the dealer to address it. Roy Medeiros in Service called me right away after receiving my email and stayed late the day after I purchased the car to take a test drive with me and assured me they will replace the tires if needed after the initial 5000 mile break in period. What I love about Mattie is they have great customer service after the purchase and you know they will back their cars. More

Purchased a company vehicle in January and was so pleased with Shawn Haggarty and his team at Mattie Imports that when it came time to purchase a family vehicle I returned to see Shawn at Mattie. The negotiations on price was no nonense and straightforward. Mattie advertizes the best prices for VW's in the area. Both vehicles were detailed and ready for delivery as promised by Shawn. At delivery Shawn took the time to explain all the functionality of the VW and answered all of my questions. He really knows the VW's. No question was left unanswered. Also at deliver Shawn walked me to the service counter to introduce me to the Service Advisor and scheduled my first 10,000 service appointment. I received a phone call the following day from Shawn to see how I liked the Jetta and if I had any questions. He really cared that I was satisfied with my purchase. Then in the mail I received a thank you note from Shawn with his business card. Shawn and Mattie also send me several e-mails to check in with me on the purchase as well as provide VW videos on some of the features of the Jetta. I have purchased vehicles from dealerships for over 30 years and this by far was the best experience ever. Plan to have my Jetta service at Mattie. THANK YOU! More

Very Pleased We visited Mattie Imports a few weeks back as our first step in looking for a new car. After doing a quick scan of their inventory, we made it our fi We visited Mattie Imports a few weeks back as our first step in looking for a new car. After doing a quick scan of their inventory, we made it our first stop as they had a good selection of the types of cars that we wished to test drive. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by one of their sales associates, Ryan. Before showing us any cars, Ryan spent a few minutes getting to know us and what our objectives were in finding our next vehicle. We were not committed to purchasing a particular brand and given we were not in any rush we kept an open mind. Within a few minutes, and at Ryan's recommendation we were test driving the car which would eventually become ours. Ryan was very thorough and took extra time with us as we looked at all options within our price range. We did not feel pressured at any time during the process, and after about four hours were able to drive away with a beautiful car at a fair price. Ryan then handed us off to the Finance Manager, who was very informative and and friendly. Once we finished with the details, a very knowledgeable agent gave me a thorough orientation to the car's electronic controls, including a customized setup of the navigation system and bluetooth. Given the car was purchased on a Saturday, and after hours, I had to return during the week for a short visit to get the car inspected. Once again, Ryan was there to greet me and followed up with me a few times during my short time there. He even arranged for a very minor detail to be corrected that I had noticed after delivery. Overall we had a great experience at Mattie........very satisfied! More
