Excellent Sales Strategy Dorsey was great, very helpful. I did not feel pressured at all. I did not have a pre-approval so he offered me to finance with them and if I found a Dorsey was great, very helpful. I did not feel pressured at all. I did not have a pre-approval so he offered me to finance with them and if I found a better one from my bank within 5 days, I could use my own instead. So I agreed to buy it. Several minutes later, I was told by the finance guy they are unable to do the 5-day window and so they will send my info to banks/credit unions. I agreed and eventually got the car. The interest rate I got was a bit higher than what I might have gotten from my credit union, but I did not want to wait. I have no regrets as I was fully aware of what was happening. I just felt like offering that 5-day window was definitely a trap. But they are car salesmen, what can I say. Regardless, I would still say this was a great car buying experience. More
