Worst buying experience ever - Update 7/5/16 Just thought I would update my review. Apparently when I wrote my last review I did something incorrect that deleted my initial review. So I found o Just thought I would update my review. Apparently when I wrote my last review I did something incorrect that deleted my initial review. So I found out I could add it to this review. I have attached my first review below so it gives you the big picture of our experience. I did finally get a phone call from the new manager Rob, and he did listen to what I had to say, which was a good start. But then when it came to him following thru to some questions that I had, no response as of yet and that was almost two weeks ago. One was about financing which cost me $600. So in total, I figure I have lost about $1,200 because of there lack of knowledge and followup. My guess is that I won't be hearing from them since the sale is done. Just a few more items because I feel that I paid for it and would not want anyone else to have to give them more of your hard earned money. The first is that like all dealerships they try to sell you the extended warranties. Well to sell us on there $849 service plan they gave a receipt for a $600 oil change. For the first service it is basically changing the air filters and an oil change. The parts were not bad at $80, but close to $500 for the labor. Really, $500 for an oil change? Then they told me I could not take it to just anyplace because it needs a "special tool". Big secret, the "special tool" is a torx bit that can be picked up just about anywhere and I am sure most places that change oil has one in there box. Just go up the road about a quarter mile and have your oil changed. And since I am being long winded, when we picked up our 2016 Audi Q5, we found paperwork from a previous driver that included some personal information like drivers license information (we shredded it). I am not sure what someone could have done with the information, but it was concerning that they did not remove that information and are so lax with personal information. By the way, if you choose to take your chances at this dealership just watch where they place the photocopies of your drivers license. Ours was just thrown in the salesperson's drawer with alot of others. 6/13/16 Worst buying experience ever Well just bought a 2016 Q5 pre-owned from Audi Reading. Not only did they lie to me at least three times during the sales process, it continued during the financing and now they don't even return emails. During the sales process they didn't seem to know anything about the Audi's they had on the lot. In addition, when asked it seemed like the answers and reasons would change as the conversations went on. During the buying process they told me there was a price premium on the car we were looking at because of the car color. Then when asked further and showing them ads from another dealer it was because it was certified (so was the other car of theirs that we were comparing it to, but again lack of knowledge of there product). Then during the finance process I inquired about the special financing that was advertised. They didn't know anything about it, I had to show them the ad. I asked them why we could not get the special financing and they said I didn't qualify. (although my score is above 800) I don't know for sure, but my guess is that they didn't even check. Also, they told me if I sign the loan paperwork as it is, they would check the following day and if they could get it, it would just be a matter of filling out different paperwork. Not sure that is even possible unless you refinance. (I figured I was going to refinance anyway, but the point is they didn't follow thru with anything). Guess what, I am still waiting for a response. I have sent my complaints to everyone at the dealership including the owners, and still no response. And to top it all off, the night we picked up the Q5, there was no one available to show us around the vehicle, even though we had an appointment. Then to top that off, we scheduled another appointment so they could go thru it. Well we arrived for our scheduled appointment and again they said no one was available again and asked us to come back. After all we have been thru they pull this. Although we were able to talk with a technician and he was able to get us thru part of the control setups. The sales person even sent me an email just the other day. He actually had the nerve to send this email "On behalf of all of us at Audi and Volkswagen Reading and The Warehouse, I want to thank you for buying your Audi from us. As you put miles on your Q5, you'll find that we are staffed to provide you with a remarkable ownership experience. For maintenance or in the event you need a repair, our team of professionals stands ready and at your service. We look forward to the opportunity to dazzle you. Additionally, many car buyers find consumer reviews of dealers helpful when choosing where to purchase. Would you please take the time to click here and complete the short questionnaire?" Are you kidding me, after all I went thru he sends me a generic email asking for my feedback. I have purchased several cars at several dealerships but this was by far the worst. After spending $40k+ this is just terrible. I have been treated better at dealerships spending half that. The only reason we went thru with the purchase was because they had what we wanted at the time. I should have stopped and walked away, I'll know next time. This is the first time I have written a review like this, it's the first time I have felt like I have had to. Worst experience ever. If you are looking for an Audi, go to Lancaster or Allentown instead, they are not that far away. 6/20/16 After almost two weeks, still no responses We purchased the 2016 Q5 certified vehicle on 6/8/16 and after almost two weeks of having the vehicle, still no responses. I've filled out a previous review and just thought I would send another since I still have not received a response back from anyone at the dealership. I have even sent letters to audicare.com, and still no response. This is the first Audi we have purchased and it is not starting out well. The vehicle itself has been good so far, it is just the dealership that has been the issue. I hope I never need service on it because I'll end up having to take it to Allentown or Lancaster. Still no help, no phone calls, no assistance. They are always "too busy". Which amazes me, because if everyone was treated like we have been treated, I am surprised they are still in business. I know I did not buy a brand new Audi, but I did buy a pre-owned certified Audi from and Audi dealer, you would think they could spend a few minutes and go over the car. But not at this dealer, they hand over the keys and that is it. No one around with any knowledge of the vehicle. Even when you make an appointment to go thru the vehicle, when you show up, still no one knows the vehicle. I'll update my review if and when I receive any response at all. More
Dana is the best person to meet with. She knows her stuff! I met with Dana to talk about what vehicle I was looking for. I had a 2013 Q5 that I wanted to trade in. We were trying to locate a 2016 Q5, Cuvee Silver Metallic outside, brown inside. We searched for days and thought there were no more to be found on this earth. One day we both searched again, and as it turned out we found the SUV I wanted. Dana never pressured me into buying another color or model. She hung in there with me. I was most appreciative of her programming things such as Sirius radio, navigation, etc. She went over all the paperwork with me. I have been a very loyal Audi customer, and I just purchased my fifth Audi! Yeah! If you are looking for a new vehicle, see Dana. She will always greet you with a smile, and get the job done. More

The best car buying experience of my life. My wife wanted to buy a new Audi Q5 to replace her 2014 Mazda CX5. Nothing wrong with the Mazda, which is a great car. So we went to our local Audi dealership, Sun Motors in Mechanicsburg, PA. I know the sales manager there. After a disappointing treatment there, they gave us their best family and friends price. My wife was not happy, so we left. I called Audi of Reading as we left and was fortunate enough to speak with Dana Campion. Right off she said she'd beat their best price by a wide margin. So we drove there and after many laughs, we got the car we wanted, in the color combination we wanted, far less than what Sun Motors' best family and friends price was. I mean she DESTROYED their price. The entire experience there was incredibly friendly and fun. And we got the best price possible; I am convinced of that. I have been driving for over 30 years and have bought many, many cars. Nothing comes close to this dealership. They are that good. More

My only gripe is the Audi notificatio My sales person Jane Strand and Manager Keith Rentschler have been great throughout the whole buying experience. My only gripe is the Audi notification process of your custom order (seems outdated, unusual and least informative). Other than that, from order to delivery was a great experience. Highly recommended. More

Great Experience at Audi Reading! I worked with Dana Campion at Audi Reading on my recent lease of an 2016 Audi Q3. If I had to sum the process up in one word, it would be "perfection. I worked with Dana Campion at Audi Reading on my recent lease of an 2016 Audi Q3. If I had to sum the process up in one word, it would be "perfection." I have been car shopping for quite some time, and it is rare you do not get tied up in a dealership dealing with all of the nonsense. Dana was so respectful of our time; I literally test drove the car on my lunch break and we essentially dealt with everything else via email & maybe a phone call. It was a very easy & seamless process. Highly recommend Dana & Audi Reading! Thank you! More
Left with the car I wanted, but not the experience I was very disappointed in this facility. Every single person I dealt with at this dealership was grumpy, rude, and generally unpleasant. It started w I was very disappointed in this facility. Every single person I dealt with at this dealership was grumpy, rude, and generally unpleasant. It started with their online response. I was on the Audi website, and clicked 'value my trade', as I was shopping for an Audi, with the intention to trade.. That ended with them calling me, and when I said I was interested in valuing my trade(but not to purchase a NEW Audi), the girl on the phone got an attitude with me. Whatever. I ended up stopping to drive and ultimately purchase a used Audi out of their inventory. I was quoted a value on my trade(and insulted/harassed about my trade) and I was given a monthly payment quote(both verbally)... As the paperwork drug on (4+ hours)and the hour grew later, I got tired and impatient and didn't clearly read the contract(100% my fault)... They credited me considerably less for my trade than they told me they would, and my monthly payments are over $100/month MORE than what he quoted me at. I would have walked out, but it was a decent price for the car, and the car I wanted was not available in the local area otherwise.. Then, the car. I was made to believe that the car was unmolested. After driving the car for a while and having time to properly inspect it inside and out, it is clear that the car was modified by the previous owner, and hastily returned to stock form for dealer sale. Any decent tech would have identified the signs, and it should have been declared before sale, in my opinion. They didn't even perform a state inspection on it before the sale (the inspection ran out 2 weeks later). I'll be taking my car, and future Audi business, elsewhere. More
