I went to try and purchase my first vehicle from Auto Class direct and was blown away by the Great experience I had. Not only was I able to get a vehicle, I got the the type of vehicle I wanted! Count me among the list of dissatisfied customers. I should have known that purchasing a car "as is" is not a good decision. On the plus side, they replaced the driver's seat which was broken, but it t should have known that purchasing a car "as is" is not a good decision. On the plus side, they replaced the driver's seat which was broken, but it took two visits and several days where I had to rent a car to get home since I live too far away. I have had the car for just under two months and found that the radiator had a leak and needed replacement, costing just under $1,000. The mechanic said the car had NO COOLANT, just plain water and that a radiator sealant had been used to try to stop the leak. If the dealership truly cared, it would stand behind their cars. I'm also disappointed with CarFax since my car was featured on their website. I understand they cannot test all the vehicles, but assumed the dealers they recommended were ethical. All CarFax said was that I should have had the car inspected pre-purchase, though I don't know a mechanic where I could have had that done. Lesson learned - don't do business with Auto Class Direct. Try honesty and follow through Ryan. If you say you will call me 20 min when I am serious about buying please do that. Why would I have to call back? If you said submit an offer and then you will give me call me 20 min when I am serious about buying please do that. Why would I have to call back? If you said submit an offer and then you will give me your best number after talking to the owner, please do that Why should I have to call back? If you say you will submit my offer at 10 am and I hear nothing and call you at 12:30 and you still haven’t discussed please tell me the offer is unacceptable. Why would you lie and avoid over and over. I then call you and you tell me what the list price is? Insulted. We discussed all that after I drove the car. Then 30 seconds after we talk you say the car is sold. No apology. No explanation. It is places like this that make ones skin crawl when thinking about buying a car. FYI I was willing to pay full price for the vehicle but I wanted to test your bottom. I am sure you could care less however. Stay away folks. There are dealers with integrity elsewhere. More
