After talking to Salesman Brian Johnson who took pictures of the car, sent them to me, and put the deal together for me. My wife and I flew to Washington where Brian picked us up at the hotel in the car we were buying so I could test drive it back to the dealership. The car was exactly what we were looking for. Today 18 Sep 2019 (Happy Birthday Air Force)I took my 2015 Ford Edge Sport into a Ford dealer this morning and found out my extended warranty explained to me at #CowlesNissan in Woodbridge VA and ultimately purchased wasn’t quite accurate. You see, the finance manager during his grandiose explanation of the brochure that he went over with us in detail grabbed the wrong brochure. The brochure he used and the covered parts he explained was for Nissan vehicles ONLY, NOT the Ford I was purchasing with him! Upon calling the warranty company I found the error and the attempted to call #CowlesNissan of Woodbridge to remedy. Here is how that went: 1. First call - Transferred to Finance and waited a cpl min until phone picked up and hung up 2. Second Call - Transferred to Finance and waited for about 5 min and no one picked up 3. 3rd Call - Transferred to Sales Manager and explained the Situation. His “Sorry can’t help you excuses” went like this “That Finance Manager no longer works here”. So??? He was a representative of #cowlesnissan when I bought it. “You could have picked up that brochure anywhere” He was trying to explain away the fact I was given that Brochure by the finance manager. Accusing me of lack of integrity!! 20+ year Air Force veteran purposely grabbed an incorrect brochure and kept it in my glove compartment waiting for this day to use it on a $600 part. Yep You got me..... great investigative work by the sales manager!!!! “If you’re asking me to fix it for free, I can’t”. I never asked that question. In the end, I have a Security+Plus Coverage Guide given to me and a Signed Quality Guard+Plus contract as well as a Security+Plus contract. What is covered...I have no idea!! If you enjoy being treated as a lying, deceitful customer with no integrity then go shop at #CowlesNissan otherwise STAY AWAY FROM COWLES NISSAN WOODBRIDGE!!! More

BUYER BEWARE!!! Stay away from this fraudulent dealership BEWARE!!! If I could give this dealership millions of negative stars, I would. I purchased a 2016 Ram 2500 Promaster van, supposedly with 13,000 mil BEWARE!!! If I could give this dealership millions of negative stars, I would. I purchased a 2016 Ram 2500 Promaster van, supposedly with 13,000 miles, from this dealership in December of 2018 and during the first couple of weeks in June 2019, I began having transmission problems. I found out that the vehicle had to be serviced at Safford Dodge Springfield. Upon their removal of the transmission, they found that a rebuilt transmission from the junkyard had been installed in the van, which voided the manufacturer warranty with Chrysler. I went to Cowles Nissan and spoke with Rusty (original salesperson), then his supervisor, Todd Hampton (General Manager). Todd said that he felt this was not their responsibility because they had no way of knowing the vehicle had a junkyard transmission in it. I told him neither did I. I purchased the vehicle thinking that all parts had 13,000 miles, and one of their selling points was, the vehicle is still under manufacturer warranty. The nonchalant attitude that he had was disgusting, as I told him, I'm sure neither he nor his family members or anyone in their right mind would be satisfied purchasing a fairly new vehicle (or so I thought) to then turn around and be asked to pay $5,800.00 only 6 months later for a transmission replacement, due to a junkyard transmission being put in the vehicle. I went to the police station after leaving the dealership and ironically, the officer had a similar bad experience with this business. It has become my business to make sure that I alert as many people as possible about the fraudulent practices of this business. I know that many people have been victims of their fraud, there are open cases with the BBB , the Virginia States Attorney , and various complaints/negative reviews online. More
