My boyfriend did the the calling, talking and negotiating the first go around. Jeep was at 11,779 in that range. We offered 12,000 then 12400 No go! Lowest was 12,8sumthen. So no deal. Now I got to thinking we are in Plymouth Indiana, and the sales man we had just didn't seem to be to interested in us or our money.. He was ready to get to that Nodar Dame game, not to mention when we walked in NO ONE GREETED US, Mybe cause we didn't fit in, we were a couple of mixture...(black n white) Manager never got his self up and came out but walked right past us on Sat an never spoke! SMH.. Country folk are always friendly. So I got to thinking, I filled out the internet form, and read some reviews.. ALWAYS READ REVIEWS! JEREMY IS THE MAN AT THIS CAR LOT...SHOULD BE A MANAGER..TAKES PRIDE IN HIS APPEARENCE, JOB, AND PEOPLE ARE JUST PEOPLE TO HIM.. MONEY IS GREEN NO MATTER WHAT HAND IT COMES FROM. CALLED ON TUESDAY asked for Jeremy talked to him about jeep gave me an offer I countered back at 12500 cash and im ? HAPPY. MY sweetheart has his jeep, Jeremy made my day and the deal that should have been made Sat was MADE! But greed and no time Kyle just can't get it right. Mind you shadiness going behind and calling me on the phone isn't good salesmanship either. Smooth experience I found this vehicle online and coming from Chicago I was worried about traveling so far to a dealership I had never been to. When I got to Auto Park Buick GMC I was already approved, took the vehicle out for a test drive, and signed the paperwork. Predators My son bought an older explorer, with a warranty pushed by the salesman. He immediately had problems with the engine running rough and returned to t My son bought an older explorer, with a warranty pushed by the salesman. He immediately had problems with the engine running rough and returned to the store the following day to report the issue. The service department told him that there was no issue. He then went to another Auto Park store and they stated it needed a tune up, $900 and that due to being routine maintenance it wasn't covered under the warranty. He decided to change the plugs and wires himself, which still required the dealerships assistance to remove several of the old plugs. Turn the clock forward to now. This particular model of explorer has an issue with spark plugs ejecting from the engine. In fact, ford issued several maintenance bulletins on the issue for several engine models. Oddly enough a spark plug ejected from the engine, and again the warranty department denied the claim. The plug that ejected was never touched after it was purchased. Another store manager was thoughtful enough to listen, but in the end took no action except to say the SUV should have never been sold in that condition. Now the engine is shot and the dealer wants $7000 to replace it. The $3000 warranty that the salesman pushed on my son wasn't worth the paper it's written on. The dealer refuses to even have a meeting to discuss the issue. I'm not looking for a refund, just some relief so my son doesn't end up owing $17000 on a SUV worth $6000. There are plenty of options, I would stay away from ALL Auto Park Dealers they have shady business practices. More
