In 2020 Car gurus Where I found that this dealership had a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara with only 10100 miles on it for sale in the add it stated that the vehicle had the remainder the manufacturers warranty. Which I screenshot it with my phone to show my wife she said she wanted to acquire about the vehicle. We call the dealership Got are credit approved and got a rough estimate of our trade in value we went up to Plymouth Indiana to buy the Jeep. When closing the dill the loan officer Also put it on paper that the vehicle had the remainder of the manufacturer's warranty and then show us how long that warranty will be. This was a great concern to me because looking at the vehicle report it showed that the vehicle originally came from Canada he clarified that the vehicle still had the remainder of the manufacturer's warranty and that they would put that in our selling documents Which they did. Just Recently I took my Jeep to a dealership where I live at locally when they read the Vin number they said to my vehicle no longer has a manufacturer's warranty because the manufacturer took that warranty away when the vehicle was transferred from Canada for sale in the United States he showed me the screen he said not only does your vehicle not qualify for the manufacturers warranty but the manufacturer not pay for any type of Recalls That need to be performed. He also informed me that this policy was en acted by Jeep Chrysler stalantis in the year 2002 so it's not something new that just happened last year. Me and my wife have many different supporting documentations to show that this was not a simple misprint or lack of communication the dealership is in the know to know this About Jeep products sold in the United States Even though they are not a Jeep dealer when I talk to the loan officer at the establishment 2 weeks ago he stated that he knew that this was a fact and doesn't understand how it was not disclosed to me I would've never bought this vehicle knowing that my family could be in jeopardy now paying that I would have to be out of pocket to pay for recalls on my vehicle and now that we got door hinges that are rusting out on my vehicle that would be covered underneath my warranty. This dealership lied to me and my family about this vehicle having a manufacturer smart they knew that Jeep didn't honor the warranty but they put on many different documents that it did have the remainder manufacturers warranty It's I would have the remainder of 2 years of warranty as the current mileage that I have on the vehicle I've communicated with this dealership and apply in courteous manner ask to speak with the general manager and the principal owner of the dealership where I was denied all contact with them I have been waiting 2 weeks for a phone call after the original conversation with the loan officer These people lied to me and betrayed my trust and they knew that they were selling me a car that no longer had a manufacturer's warranty. You cannot blame this on The manufacturer because the manufacturer does this according to their statement on the website because of the disenfranchising American dealerships are doing to Canadian dealership.
