I was in contact with a lot of people from different places, and the staff at Newtown Square VW were by far the nicest, easiest, and most logical people to help me in my first car buying experience. They were great with communication, and were always prompt to answer any questions that I had. More importantly they helped reach an agreement on a car that I very much wanted, and definitely left the dealership smiling and content with my new car. Great Service BUT Still Worried It’s hard to wire a review- I think the dealer and the service staff are wonderful - really nice people who know how to deliver quality customer servi It’s hard to wire a review- I think the dealer and the service staff are wonderful - really nice people who know how to deliver quality customer service. HOWEVER, I brought in a car (that was running great) for an airbag recall and routine inspection / oil change. The service was quick - top notch! Two days later the steering wheel froze and the car wouldn’t start; two days after that the my wife calls me to report that she is concerned because the check engine light is lit on the display. Back to service we go - where they said it needed spark plugs (that we’re not recommended from the first multipoint inspection). OK ... we do the spark plugs and less than two days later my wife calls to tell me the check engine light is back on and a new warning light (EPC) is lit AND the car is bucking like a bronco. Turn the car off and back on - the EPC light goes away as does the bucking! Now we are back for the third visit - I experienced the EPC light as well on the way to the dealer. This time they blame the whole problem on bad gas - handing me a leaflet about the benefits of buying specific brands of premium. There has never been a drop of anything but high octane gas in the car since day one. I was given two bottles of gas additive and sent on my way. I hope this solves the problem but I don’t have the same confidence in the safety and reliability of the vehicle - as this is the car my wife drives it remains a concern for me. More

Service was there when i needed it. To start my story it all begins with a nail in the tire... I called the dealership i bought the car from in Wayne PA at 3 because i know service was o To start my story it all begins with a nail in the tire... I called the dealership i bought the car from in Wayne PA at 3 because i know service was open till 5. When i called there i was told they stopped taking service calls even after i told them it was a easy fix and just needed a tire plugged. Then i proceeded to call a few more places none dealerships and they were all able to help me out. But i really wanted this done by a certified VW mechanic so i tried VW of Newtown Square as i know i was about to pass them as i was driving home. Amie i believe answered the phone very professionally and had great customer service tone right off the bat... she told me they can help and will be waiting on my arrival. So long story short great customer service on Amie's part and very friendly and clean dealership. I did take it back for my oil change a month later and received the same service that i appreciated from the first visit. More
