First and last time. The service was mostly friendly, with the exception of my last experience after returning my vehicle for a replacement tire after receiving new tires The service was mostly friendly, with the exception of my last experience after returning my vehicle for a replacement tire after receiving new tires about two weeks prior. The service man who wrote up my order was condescending after I had informed him of the price I was given over the phone (was previously told on a Saturday that I would need to pay for only labor). Tuesday, the pricing was completely different. Spoke with the manger, who gave me a “discount” and was indoors that the person who gave me the information I’ve the weekend should not have done so as “he’s a Mercedes dealership mechanic and gave misinformation.” Long story short, I spent over 1200 during my first visit, 100+ at my second visit (to fix what I believe was faulty tire) and that would be my last time seeking service from that location. More

Great Service I took my Beetle in for a new wheel after having hit a pothole. The staff couldnt have been nicer! Having worked with other VW dealerships in the area, I will choose VW of Newtown Square over any other, even if I have to drive farther. Highly recommended. More
Not worth the time I have always gone to VW dealerships for service on my car. I had a check engine light on that I already had a diagnosis from at my local shop (I got I have always gone to VW dealerships for service on my car. I had a check engine light on that I already had a diagnosis from at my local shop (I got the diagnosis and quote for free at the local shop). This dealership told me that they needed to run the diagnostic for a fee (I can't remember exactly what it was but it was over $125) and that that price would not go towards the cost of the repair. I ended up paying for the diagnostic because I was hoping the quote I got at the dealership might be a little less. Well, I won't be making that mistake again. It would have cost me more at the dealership and they didn't have the parts so I would have had to come back (over an hour from my house). Next time I'll save my money and my gas and time and just go to my local shop and not waste time at the dealership. More
