My wife and I purchased 2 vehicles from Automax (Framingham) in the past 12 months. Prior to going to Automax, a few local dealerships had competitive pricing until you stopped in and learned the f (Framingham) in the past 12 months. Prior to going to Automax, a few local dealerships had competitive pricing until you stopped in and learned the fine print. Automax is a no frills dealership with non-negotiable pricing, but can't be beat. Two weeks ago, I purchased an 2008 Acura TSX from Armand and he was a man of his word creating another good buying experience from Automax. Definitely recommend doing your homework and stopping at other dealerships first to be shocked by what you can drive home once stopping at Automax for the same price. My daughter and her husband purchased two vechicles from AutoMax last year so they suggested we go and check it out. Originally we had another vehicle in mind and decided that we didn't like it and while browsing the lot spied a mint Murano, white and loaded to the gills. We took it out with Paul (DiCarlo)and he was pleasant and easy going and the car drove great. So what started as just browsing turned into a pleasant purchase. The financing was soooo easy and Dan(Johnson)took care of that in no time, the rate was much better than I had anticipated. I paid for the equivalent service of a pre certification and the car passed all tests and inspections. They only issue was a clogged A/C drainage hose, loose rubber door gasket both fixed under warranty and the car was due for a cabin filter and 36,000 mile service. The car had 34,500 miles on it so why go back in 1500 miles... ( paid for that). My wife and I are VERY HAPPY with this purchase as no mechanical issues and two people at the dealership complemented us on the car (sharp looking-nice car) and the service tech said it was in excellent shape! My wife and I were looking for the right Mercedes SLK that was a Later year model (2008-2009) used car, the right options and still under warranty without having to pay a huge amount of money. We looked at Mercedes SLKs at different dealers over the past six months and had various disappointing sales experiences from high pressure... buy it now, to we are raising the price tomorrow and offering less than a reasonable offer on our trade in, and of course asking an reasonable sales price for a vehicle with lesser value. Now, as far as Auto Max/ Only Nice Cars in Framingham, our ENTIRE experience was very positive. I called on Friday spoke with Sal to see if the Mercedes SLK we saw on line was still available, we talked about the Mercedes, the options, mileage and what AutoMax had to offer. Sal was upfront with me on what to expect (fixed pricing). I told him I would call back once my wife and I decided when we could visit the showroom. Called Sal back told him Sunday, he said he was not in Sunday and recommended Armand! What salesman offers to have another sales rep help a potential customer with a auto sale? We went to the showroom asked for Armand. Armand was thorough, let us inspect the car, we sat down talked about our trade, went back and forth twice, we settled on their offer at a fair price on both ends for our trade in. Next before any deposit was made or sales contract drafted, Armand insisted he move the car out of the show room so we could test drive it for a final decision. My wife and took the Mercedes for a test drive, smooth ride no issues, all the right options, everything works and is in great shape...NICE CAR! We returned from the test drive, Armand asked twice if everything was ok, then at down and finalized the deal. We noticed the owners manual was missing, we told Armand and the said they would order one for us. A second key FOB was missing, we settled that issue with them as well. Now on to the financing end. We sat down with Al, we told him we had a quote from our local bank/credit union.... he checked our credit came back and beat the interest rate! He said he would have our financing all set when we came in to pick the car up. Tuesday all finance paperwork, registry title, registration, transfer and plate return were done at the showroom. While we waited for the insurance info to be faxed over Tom the Sales manager talked to us and was very friendly. I told Tom this was the first time I did not feel pressured in any way....great people, service and dealership. That is what Tom wanted to hear and prides himself inn having great sales people and a great dealership. BTW... We were offered a competitive price on an extended warranty and declined. No pressure on that either. Why anyone says they had a bad experience is beyond me.....I look forward to telling people about Car Maxx Framingham and I would definitely go back to do business with them again! More

Paul was very accommodating after my wife decided that she did not want the car I brought her to see. Paul immediately showed us another car which my wife liked. It had just come in on a trade, but was what we were looking for. The car had somethings that needed to be taken care of as part of the sale. Everything was done to our satisfaction. Once we bought the car, my son brought back because of an alignment problem. many other dealers would have argued that there was no problem and give us a hard time. AutoMax did not. They took the car in, drove it, understood what had to be done and did it. The car was ready when they said it would be, too.
