Made an appointment and was told it would be 5-7 days before they could get to the car. Aside from misleading customers on appointment dates and times, they refused to assist with loaner or rental while they had the car, indicating the issue had to be diagnosed before courtesy transportation was available. The vehicle had less than 500 miles, so it was clearly a warranty service. Thus, I contacted GM Customer Service directly and received the following: I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing such frustrations. Dealerships are independently owned and operated and manage their own loaner vehicles. Whenever an overnight, warrantable repair is required, Chevrolet does try to assist with transportation during this period. GM will cover a daily rate of up to $44/day ($47/day Cadillac rental) from a 3rd party rental agency until the repair is concluded. Please note, we will only consider reimbursement for a GM vehicle rented from a 3rd party rental agency. A NON GM 3rd party rental will not be reimbursed. Also any other fees including taxes, insurance, fuel, taxes, other fees and optional add-ons such as navigation, toll road devices, satellite radio are not reimbursable." For long term rentals, we also ask that you rent your vehicle by the week or month rather than daily to receive the best rental prices. Having your dealership coordinate your alternate transportation will ensure it is within GM’s coverage allowance. We can also contact the dealer to advise that they assist with setting up a rental if a loaner is not available. Once repairs are complete, we can collect your documentation via email or it can be submitted directly to the dealership. Please keep in mind that until we have the invoices in hand, we cannot guarantee rental coverage. The case number is 9-15197396235. Dirty carpets/black marks on leather You are wasting my time. I can easily afford to fix it; I didn’t do it. I have a Corvette. Obviously money isn’t an issue; it’s your accountability that is the issue. They said they will fix it, but this is a waste of my time. I notified insurance and made a police report since they don’t want to believe me. It’s not fixed yet, and I feel they may back out of fixing it. Dont bother responding to this post. I took my truck in for oil change and tire rotation. I waited at the dealership for almost 2hrs. When I got the truck back and I paid for the service, to make long story short. Tires were not rotated and oil was dangerously low. They refund me what I paid and re service the truck again. Don't know if this is something normal or a one time thing, but charging money for service that is not done is unacceptable. Maybe the service department needs more attention, maybe a Quality assurance person to check the maintenance is done write and properly. More
