Had a good experience with Christopher Hopkins, front-sales rep., and Art Garza (the "Spark guy") on the end of the new car purchase. Chris even retrieved a garage remote clicker from my trade-in when I came to pick up some other items from my old car. Art gave me some important advice about utilizing new technologies with the 2022 auto. I did find the "back-and-forth" negotiating on the price to be somewhat irritating--either be upfront with discounts (I was already going along with an MSRP quote that was at least $700 higher than several other dealers in other parts of the country), or don't wave them in front of the buyer. If the sales rep. has to get approval from a manager anyway, why not arrange from the start for a meeting with all three of you to agree on the price from the get-go? It would save a lot of time and be a lot more transparent and respectful of the buyer's time and good will. Otherwise, I would have given this dealership five stars across the board. In the end, I got the car I wanted, and due to the scarcity of these affordable little gems (GM has announced it will stop manufacturing them in August), I was willing to play along with the jacked-up MSRP, and less than ideal interest rate. Had a scheduled appointment for an oil change and waited over 2 hours before it was completed. The only thing they did was not charge my oil change to my maintenance plan which ultimately gives us one more over 2 hours before it was completed. The only thing they did was not charge my oil change to my maintenance plan which ultimately gives us one more free oil change but it was still a huge inconvenience and ridiculous amount of time to wait on your truck to get an oil change when you scheduled an appointment and didn’t just walk in. Usually have to wait about an hour or so but never over 2 hours like this last time. The only way we knew what was going on was to ask. They did not come and give us any information. More
